Swallowing a double temporary resin dental crown
I had gastric bypass surgery in 2010 and have had no issues since my surgery. Two days ago I accidently swallowed my temporary double crown that fit over my upper two front teeth. I have been following general instructions on how to retrieve it from my stool, which can take up to a week to pass. I am not experiencing any pain or other issues after having swallowing the double crown 48 hours ago. Has anyone else experienced this and what was your outcome and experience? Thank you!
Best regards,
Lisa

Second account? Colour me confused!!!
I didn't think they still did temporary crowns. I had one done 2 weeks ago, 1.5 hours from start to permanent crown. No impressions, all done with digital photographs . You can have a whole mouth full of implants done here in one day!

Had my first crown done in January. Temporary made and then like 2 weeeks or so later the permanent one was ready and they popped off the temporary and in went the permanent. The reason for the two weeks and temporary was it took that long for permanent to be made from the mold.
surprised yours is taking 6 months! ?
My daughter swallowed her top permanent brace thing and we had to rebuy it, very expensive! no word to search her stool!! lol! Just kidding! I get it but I might bite the Bullet and stick on a credit card then do that. Although I am picky person that way!
