You may want to ask but these are designed specially for swimming, not t-shirts. They are designed to be UV blocking for people who can't be exposed to the sun. Maybe if you explain it that way, they will let you wear it.

Because my two skin colors are "pale" and "lobster red", I switched to rash guards and swim capri's last year -- Amazon has swim capris for around $20 or less and I found some good rash guards there too at reasonable prices. The sporting good stores have the swim capris too but they are stupid expensive there. I love them they are cute and since they are usually treated for SPF, they minimize the areas of sunscreen application!
