It's really an amazing spot -- also the Korean War Veterans Memorial is haunting.

You would love it. I walk/run the Mall on my lunch break sometimes except that sometimes the school age tourists can be hard to navigate when I'm on a limited time frame. Try to come when the cherry blossoms are out in the spring and that is just one more thing to enjoy!

Ah, Iceland is on my bucket list. HAVE SO MUCH FUN! My BFF and I had a whole trip planned with a full itinerary (I am obsessed with the Icelandic ponies!) but then she had a change to her work calendar and we couldn't make it work. I hate that I have all this time off and no confidence to spend the severance...

Oh and was it you *****commended Safe on Netflix? Because we binged it over the last 3 days and it was incredible! Thanks for the tip, we loved it!

When I get back, I'll be able to share any tips to make your planned itinerary even better;-) Yes, Safe was so good -- they did another series by the same author called The Five -- it's downloaded for this flight, hopefully it's just as good!

Yes! Goats and lambs -- and they are free range, especially on the east (much less populated) side of the country. I may have had to restrain my friends from "rescuing" a few baby lambs and goats yesterday, lol

We stumbled upon Safe by accident. Wow!!! I love the guy/dad, loved him in Dexter. Haven't finished it yet but sooo good. Does it finish after the first season or are we supposed to wait for another season?

It wraps up at the end of the episodes, but sadly I think that means it is a one season jobber. I don't think they can extend the mystery for another season.
