What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?

Wowzers, we are in for a hot hot hot day today! We have barely had more than a few days out of the 50s this spring and today we are going to be up to 90 today and tomorrow. I love the hot weather! Of course, the high on Sunday (when we are hosting a big cookout) will be rainy and in the 50s again... Oh, New England! I have a billion things to do today, but what is the point o unemployment if I can't steal a beach day? I am thinking about it...
Well, my job news is less than ideal, after all. They keep telling me that they are giving me the offer, but just keep continuing to be more hoops to jump through on my end and their end, too. And now they say its likely a few more weeks before an offer can go out officially. I am super frustrated. I really want to put all my eggs in this basket and go enjoy life over the next few weeks, but since I haven't been able to count on them for an accurate timeline so far, it doesn't feel prudent to stop looking elsewhere. So... d'oh!
QOTD: It's Memorial Day, so it is the unofficial start of summer! What is your favorite summer activity? I am a beach bum! I love packing up the car with towels, chairs, coolers, and books and spending the whole entire day at the ocean :)
I got nothing for photo Friday, so here is a random pic using one of those photo apps :)
Good morning! It's going to be hot here as well, and it's been muggy all week. I don't mind the heat but I hate feeling sticky. I just wish we'd have a big thunderstorm like it's been threatening to do.
qotd: my favorite summer activity is swimming and walking the farmers market. There's a little water park near my house and one year we had summer passes, but they've hiked up the price so high that it's not worth it anymore.
breakfast: coffee and premier
lunch: 3 oz salmon and broccoli from the garden
dinner: unsure. I'm thinking a turkey burger with pepper jack cheese, and maybe a small salad.
photo is DH (sharing with permission of course) who just had his one year surgiversary and is down 220 lbs. I am so proud of him! He's gone from NO physical activity--mowing the lawn took all day because he'd have to stop every 15 minutes for a break. Now, he runs 3 miles in the mornings, has been biking after dinner (a good bicycle was his 1 year gift from me), and can mow the lawn in less than an hour...and then have energy to do more stuff the same day.

Haha! Last night after dinner he went for a ride and then "stopped to play Pokémon Go in the park." So I think he's feeling younger too. Maybe around age 12
