Wait time at Guelph?
hi there, just wondering if anyone had any ideas about wait time for Guelph General? My orientation was 02/22/18 and will be having my second appt with nurse/social worked and nutritionist tomorrow. had all blood work done, starting craving change, bought another workbook, stated CPAP.... I guess Im excited to begin. I havent lost any weight between appointment time - I m worried about that
I went through Guelph and you can see in my signature that it took 18 months from referral to surgery. There are other Guelph post-ops that are more recent on the OH Ontario Forum. Take a look there and you may see more current wait times. Congratulations on starting the process.
CENTURY CLUB MEMBER at 6 months post-op.
Referral to Guelph Feb/13, Sleep study and all bloodwork and ultrasound May/13, orientation July/13. Nurse, NUT,SW Sept/13, 2nd NUT, nurse and SW, 3rd round and cleared for surgery Dec/13. Pre-op Apr 7/14, Surgeon May 2/14, Opti Jul 3/14, surgery Jul 17/14.
So my referral was submitted on July 31st.
Orientation at Guelph was September 28, 2017
Surgery was Feb 9th 2018.
So 6 months from referral and 4 months from orientation.
Really good process. I have no idea how I ended up in the Guelph program as I live in Toronto but it's all been worth it.

we must have been in the same orientation class! 3:30 February 22?
I just had my second visits with everyone and on june 21 I meet with social worker, dietitian, and Intern. What about you, I see this was posted on may 24, any new appointments? I posted today about what happens after you meet with the Intern. Do you know the answer to this?
I haven't lost any weight either, I don't think its anything to worry about.
