good morning! JB, so happy about the promising news!!

accountability: yesterday was not awesome but it wasn't terrible, still made pretty good choices. I'm going to give myself a mental brea****il Monday after I have had the weekend to truly sit down and make a game plan as far as prepping and weighing meals so that I can really get the results I want without fail.

Qotd: I hosted a HUGE party back in February for my hubbies 40th birthday. It was so much fun. I won't lie though, preparing all of that delicious food and drink was so challenging. Worth it to see him surrounded by all his family and friends :)

b- vanilla pp and coffee

l- chicken cream cheese pickle roll ups

d- leftover chicken breast

s- egg whites

v- patches

e- dog walk or bike ride.

Yesterday was a relatively bad day. My car which went in for a recall that should have taken one day (not overnight) has now taken 2 and a bit days and 2 overnights. Ugh! I am quickly losing confidence in this dealerships service department.

Then I went to prune some bushes for the pool and that was a mistake. I got about an hour in and realized I was beginning to struggle. So much for being helpful... it then took me the rest of the day to recover! Fortunately I felt better in time to cook for the first time since before the pre op diet. I made meatballs. I got to have one for dinner with a tablespoon of sauce. Karl got to have 3 with pasta and sauce. We ate the same thing!

Qotd: We host fairly frequently. Usually just having friends over for dinners and board games, or movies. The last big thing we hosted was a Christmas party last year. I made 8 desserts from plum pudding to a candy cane cake, but the rest of the food was all catered. I love having the space for nice get togethers.

Accountability: My dinner plan changed, but was still well within plan.

Bf: 1 scrambled egg, 2oz cottage cheese

MS: 1/3 serving cream of wheat

L: 2 slices deli chicken, 1T cauliflower hummus, 1/2 string cheese

AS: 2oz refried beans, 1/2 oz Cabot extra low fat cheddar

D: 1 baked Turkey meatball, 2T tomato sauce

1 creamy protein jello cup

I ate turkey meatballs from Trader Joes literally every single day for the first year out from surgery. Really moist and yummy and just the right size.

Hope you get your car back, soon!

I think I might try the Trader Joe's ones next. The ones I made are a little dry and the flavor is kinda meh. Thanks... I am still waiting. I called and it sounds like it still isn't ready. So much for my plans today. Bah!

G?morning all!

JB - sending tons of good work mojo your way. Hopefully before the weekend you?ll get the great news.

QOTD: I am THE QUEEN of parties. I love hosting. We have a huge deck that begs for summer parties. I?m bummed that my kids don?t want any more bday parties, I used to go all out. I have a feeling they got tired of my theme parties. Last bday party for DD was when she turned 16 (she turns 20 this weekend) and for DS when he turned 13. They both said no more, it?s exhausting...as if they did all the work. Oh well, we have our annual parties for Halloween, xmas eve, 4th of July and whatever else I can come up with. This weekend we are hosting about 10 couples. The guys all were friend in middle school/elementary when the first star wars came out. They camped out in front of the theaters to see the first three Star Wars. So it became a tradition. Now that they are all grown and married they still get together for Star Wars movies. They are all spending the weekend here because we are going to see the Han Solo movie, and the boys will stay up all night to do the SW marathon here. You should see how DH has set up the huge theatre screen and projector on the deck. I?m worried the neighbors will complain...but DH said we?ll invite them over if they complain.

Accountabilty : hmmm, DD is not a good influence on me. There were some extra stuff that I shouldn?t have even looked at let alone eat.

B: coffee protein

L: shredded chicken

S: cheese

D: stir fry cauliflower rice + shredded chicken

Happy Thursday.
