Good morning JB and Menu crew - good luck on the job front!!! I was just thinking about how wonderful it is for me since I changed job locations, I have more responsibility, and work 1.5 miles from home instead of a 2 hour round trip drive I took for 28 years. I am planning my trip to China/Hong Kong for November, I have a 10 year Visa so I will not have to submit a book of letters and itinerary this year.
Accountability was good - I had mentioned I am mowing with push mower, I had 16,000 steps yesterday and did not go to the gym or run...
QOTD - we do not host as often as we used to, we go out as it is easier...LOL
B -Protein bar
S - salami/mozzerella roll
L - Ham chef salad
S - hard boiled eggs
D - left over grilled ribeye

E - Gym night -
Stay healthy my friends, Mike

Don't even tease me with a 1.5 mile commute. That is definitely not in the cards. Sounds great though!
And I am in such a tiny area it takes me about 3 minutes...LOL

It can take me 30 minutes to drive the 3 miles home from the Metro at night!

I am on the train to NYC for my rescheduled career boot camp. It's supposed to be 80 and sunny so beautiful but hot. Decided to wear a brand new pristine white shirt. Lasted 5 minutes into the train ride eating my overnight oats with blueberries. Do the math blueberry squirted onto my shirt. Luckily I foresaw this and packed a second white shirt.
QOTD: we are big party hosters in my family. Because of last year's surgery I would say 2 summers ago. I've had many parties with 100+ people in my backyard. I grew up with my parents throwing a summer party every other year for about 250 people. They pretty much invited everyone in town. The kids got to play waiters and waitresses.
They said bring lunch so I've packed like I'm going to Gilligans Island.. not Manhattan Island. I won't necessarily eat it all.
Going to leave off here as bouncing on train

Hahahaha are we related? I don't think I even own a white shirt because the odds of it staying white for more than an hour are slim to none #iamaspiller

Good morning OHers! Happy Thursday!
JB, your big job news sounds tantalizing! I hope it's all you wish for, and more!
I'm actually still up - have Been working on a couple of big orders, one to the UK and the other to Hong Kong. I really need to get them shipped today, so I worked on both through the night while listening to a wonderful Audible book. I am not yet done, but tired to the point of beginning to make stupid errors. So I set my alarm for 10 AM. As long as I am finished by 4:30 they will enter the mail stream today!
I walked around outside at around midnight just to stretch and get some air. I'm telling you - this island is a wild and enspirited place - the moon was riding high in ragged clouds, and the incredibly tall trees were, I swear, talking amongst themselves and conversing with the wind in their ancient, verdant, sibilant language. I am so happy to be here. I feel I belong in this green, green place!
QOTD: I do love to entertain. I had some people over last month and will again in two weeks. Hopefully it won't rain and we'll make a bonfire by the lake.
First: I've been drinking tea all night, but I will start the day in a few hours with more.
B: ham and smoked gouda
L: a little hamburger meat and some cottage cheese
D: uncertain, but protein forward - perhaps some salmon
S: a repeat of breakfast if needed
Have a wonderful day, my friends!
Cara, I'm curious (nosy). What do you do? Orders to get ready? What do you make?
