Good Morning and congrats on the news about the job. Exciting times for you I am sure!

Accountability: spot on

QOTD: Every year we host a huge family and friends picnic. The invitations went out in April to 60 of our closest friends, some work friends and all of our family. We host over 100 people at our house. My husband fires up the smokers early in the morning and then fires up the grill as guests arrive. It takes a lot of time to get ready for it but we love to do it and it is a great time!

Tomorrow is Fun and Fitness Day and my school and I have to be there at 6 AM to help the PE teacher set up... alas, I won't be posting tomorrow and then we are leaving for another camping weekend. I wish everyone a great weekend and take a minute to reflect on Memorial Day and remember those who have lost their lives giving us our freedoms.

You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

Thanks for the reminder about the holiday. It can be easy to get lost in just another long weekend.

Good morning! It is almost the holiday, and I am looking forward to warm weather! Yesterday was beautiful here and Justice had 4 walks which he really needed after a rainy day. Chiquita joins us now for one walk a day when it isn't raining. The distance and pace are a little slower though she speeds up once she gets her rhythm.

QOTD: I hosted all the major holidays for over 20 years, until DH retired and we moved to Cape Cod full time 4 years ago. We have had some small gatherings, usually with DS (chef) cooking but that is it (and DH can't handle much more than that). We have family coming tonight in fact (7 of us).

2 Years, 2 months post-op

Always lots of coffee...

B: Eggs scrambled with cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Tuna salad with pickles and cottage cheese

D: ceviche, scallops and veggies (DS cooking - last night was cancelled and rescheduled to tonight)

S: apple and/or protein bar

Good morning,

My 4 year old buddy didn't want to go to sleep last night, finally at midnight he went to sleep. We have to be up early to pick my friend up.

I didn't go out to lunch yesterday but I added some kale salad to my supper, later on I had strawberries sweeten with Splenda and whipped topping and ice cream at different times.

Qotd probably around 2011 I had a party. Don't usually throw parties but go to other people's parties.

B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese

L going to Logans

D zoodles with spaghetti meat sauce and kale salad

Have a good day

hi all

accountability: my ma bought me a slice of cheesecake for my birthday (still at her house), which I ate most of (no crust or toppings) but recorded it. I also had 1/2 serving of popcorn last night. I did throw away a lot of sweets for DH from restaurants this week. he wasn't going to eat them and I didn't need to. meatloaf and green beans at the church last night. Went over calories for sure. the good news is I haven't stopped for special donuts at this place or eaten ice cream.

Went to gym did lower body workout.they had this huge contraption called something 360 and it looked like a crazy jungle gym didn't know how anything worked so I have to look up the exercises to be able to use them tonight after dinner.

In a dilemma with our car. the air compressor went out and its german so $$$$ 1200 to replace. stuff is really starting to break on it. thinking of just selling and getting something more reliable. its sitting at the shop now.

Plans:

egg/slicd lunch meat

coffee

water

coffee

lunch? TBD

dinner- roasted wings from bbq with my dad after going to get my car.

QOTD: nothing since we moved but occasionally we would host. one of the neighbors is afraid of dogs so we would generally go to their house. we are planning a july 4 even - hopefully the house will be back together by then.

dont go there- I was jut thinking of something that wouldnt make me ill for hours to eat for my big birthday. i l also got a frap from starbucks with no frap roast or sugar syrups. ice cream usually does not sit well and causes RH. It was from the grocery store but it was good. i still got rh but slight after.
