So good to see you, Nance! And so glad that things are looking up for you. It's amazing that you've lost 200+ lbs. in about a year! I'm just past my 11-month mark and am nowhere close to 200# of loss, though I started at almost exactly the same weight as you did, am also in my 60's, and the same height as you are. Your achievement is fantastic! I t looks as if it will take me several months more to equal your loss, but that's ok, steady focus will pay off, I know. Anyway, great to see you here again!

G'morning all!!

Busy day ahead but my first stop is checking in with you guys.

QOTD: nowadays, clothing and shoes. I justify it by not having bought nice clothes in 20 years. I emptied my closet from sizes 18-12 and kept the 10s. DH said your closet still looks full, how's that possible? Evil grin, I've been slowly replenishing it with size 10 and M tops! I also spend too much money on yarn, can't pass it up. And audible books. My favorite time of the day is when I can listen to audible and crochet.

Accountability: cals:775, protein 117, carbs 25

B: coffee protein

L: lunch date with DS + DD, protein forward

S: yogurt or cheese

D: left over from lunch

Happy Hump day!

Good morning! Love that photo JB! Today I have to give a presentation in another department with people I haven't seen since before my surgery. I am a bit nervous and honestly, I don't want to draw any attention to my body/size so I chose a very plain, loose outfit. Is that weird? Afterwards I am headed out to visit my mom's grave - I can't believe it's already been a year. I miss her so much.

QOTD - Clothes and shoes for the win! I actually think I have a shopping problem but keep justifying it in that I've had to replace EVERY SINGLE THING I own (except socks!) in the last year including all my shoes since my foot shrunk a whole size.

Accountability - Shot to hell at the pot luck yesterday. I knew I should have faked a migraine!

18 mo post op

b- coffee and more coffee

l-pork carnitas and salad

d-Italian sausage and peppers

v/l - on track

Have a good day everyone!

A beautiful day here, and I am up to enjoy the early-ish morning. The sunshine and birds singing used to annoy me, but I might be getting older... also the weight has started moving again which is motivating and a little bit happy.

Qotd: Ohhh boy.... fabric and quilting supplies are my biggest addiction. Even before surgery I would spend money on cute fabrics before food. I am also a gamer though and somehow whenever I look at where my money has gone digital purchases are way up there.

Accountability: Yesterday was great! Drank 2 more oz of water and ate to plan. Although I did have a 1/3 of a serving of cream of wheat instead of a second yogurt. I forgot that on my dietitians plan yogurt counts as dairy and I can only have 1 serving of that/ day for now.

BF: 1 scrambled egg, 2oz cottage cheese

MS: 1/3 serving cream of wheat, 1 scoop beneprotein

L: 2 slices deli meat, 1/2 string cheese, 1T cauliflower hummus

AS: 2oz refried beans, 1/2 oz Cabot extra low fat cheddar

D: 2oz canned chicken, 1/4 cup sweet potato, 1 laughing cow wedge

And maybe a creamy protein jello cup.

Cute picture!!

Another evening in the ER with DH and he's now an inpatient. The cardiologist's office called to see how he was doing after his hospital stay over the weekend. When he told her how he was feeling, she said he should go to the ER. Then the hospitalist called and said the same thing. Tests being done this morning.

Of course when I got home I was hungry although I took a couple healthy snacks with me so I had some popcorn, then some party mix and a half cup no sugar added ice cream. Ugg.....I will be in control this evening.

QOTD: I spend too much on groceries. I'm not buying junk food but when things I use are on sale I think I need to buy. Also, quilt fabric is high on my list of over buying. I have so much fabric on hand, but I can't resist a good deal. I especially like the remnant bin at Hobby Lobby.....so cheap and so much variety. I make a lot of quilts for charity so I like to keep the cost of supplies down.

Today's eats:

B: oatmeal w/walnuts & peanut butter

S: protein shake

L: salad w/Laughing Cow, deli chicken

S: protein latte

D: chicken and ?????

S: something healthy......I promise.
