At this far out from surgery I would avoid doing just shakes and liquids--you pouch has matured too much and it won't keep you satisfied like it did in the beginning. You'll be more likely to go off the rails if you are ver hungry, right?

How about a week of AMAW (all meat all week)--just dense protein! Everytime I start thinking my surgery is broken because I can eat half of a sheet cake again, I just sit down with a plate of 3 oz of chicken and then I get that extreme feeling of fullness and remember how this surgery works!

You're right. I have been panicking so much lately because I feel like my body is able to eat sooo much more than like it could in the beginning. I just am so terrified that I won't get to goal and then I'll be one of the people who end up gaining some weight back. Just the idea of that gives me heart palpitations! The farther out I get from my surgery day the more I feel like I'll never get to goal. It makes me cry just thinking about it. As a good addict, it is so hard for me to control my quantities even when I weigh things out to keep from just shoveling things in. The struggle is so real!! Thank you for taking the time to respond to me. I'm going back to all protein starting Monday. Do you think it would be a good idea to stay on an all protein plan until I reach goal? Just trying to figure out how I can get the last 30 off as fast as possible. Thanks again! I appreciate your input :)

Hi Mandi,

As far out as you are I would be starving on that menu.

I did drink a protein shake every day the first 2 years to keep my protein numbers around 100g a day. But Premier didn't cut it anymore- it was like drinking water. Fine as an occasional emergency snack, not as a meal. I find shaking my protein with cashew milk or some brands I'm ok with water much better or obviously using a blender and some ice to thicken.

Julia will as right about the dense protein. You only have one dense protein on there.

If the coffee and Premier are convenient because of work or your morning schedule why not have both in the morning and still have a dense protein lunch and dinner.

Hard boiled eggs and babybel cheese are great portable protein snacks

That is a good idea. I should stock the work fridge with hb eggs and mini cheeses. I have always had a hard time getting meals or snack in at work since my schedule is usually stacked back to back with clients. I think this weekend I will sit down and focus on ways I can make my day-to-day easier in that way. It's all about food prep, right? I just need to make things and portion them ahead of time so I always have something at work. Thanks for the advice! It is so appreciated :)

My car is in to the dealership and I am back home waiting. It is going to be a long day today, but at least I get to do the waiting at home.

Qotd: Absolutely a hippopotamus! I am a member of a hippo fan group and my house is home to many little hippo plushies and figures. Well, my house is home to all kinds of toys really, thankfully my husband is okay with it :-D

Accountability: I am still on it! Yesterday was super good, I hit 70oz of water finally. For someone that used to drink so much water I am happy to be finally increasing.

BF: 1 scrambled egg, 2oz Siggi's yogurt

MS: 2oz refried beans, .5 oz Cabot's extra low fat cheddar

L: 2 slices deli chicken, 1/2 cheesestick, 1T cauliflower hummus

AS: 4oz bone broth, 1 scoop beneprotein

D: 2oz canned chicken, 1t miracle whip, 2oz sweet potato, 1 laughing cow wedge

To JB from another JB, waiting on a call after an interview is the pits. Seems like it takes forever. Hope your dream job comes thru.

QOTD: I'm thinking of a cougar. They are such beautiful cats.

This evening I'm going with a couple gal friends to see Book Review. I rarely go to the movies but there is a special $5 ticket so that's good.

B: Greek yogurt with granola and little Cool Whip. The CW gives it some fluffiness.

L: Chicken & Wild Rice casserole

S: Protein shake

D: BLT maybe; not sure what else

Doesn't look like I'm eating much today. After the weekend, I need to cut back.
