Enjoy the time you have off while waiting! I'm getting so good at retirement that the "work" I need to do around the house today is bumming me out.

QOTD: Another interesting one! Hmmm... I think many large animals would look cute in a smaller size. Maybe a little zebra? Or giraffe?

Good morning :)

I have another ultrasound and OB appointment today. I feel like I'm always there now lol. Now we are on flip watch -- the doc said "think somersaults" lol. After, I might pop over to the grocery store beside her office to stock up on a few things for the week.

Our weekend was nice but also productive. Tons of spring cleaning type things. We also went to BILs house on Sunday for dinner. When my nephew went to hug me goodbye he ran right into my belly. It was pretty funny.

QOTD: what a fun question!! We have the two pups, so it would have to be something to get along with them. My initial thought was a tiger... I don't know if that would work out ;)

Post-op three years, two months.

Breakfast - protein shake

Snack - toast and PB

Lunch - leftover homemade pizza

Snack - BBQ rib

Dinner - ribs and salad

Snack - pudding

All water and vits.

Good morning from my recliner. The cats are taking turns sitting with me so I always have companionship!

I slept well last night in the recliner but may try the bed soon. It is just so much easier to get in and out of the chair by myself.

Not too much pain this morning so I am holding off taking more meds for a while.

I'm drinking lots of fluids plus 2 protein shakes. I've had Turkey, ham and blueberries and last night had 5 prunes and a few almonds. They did the trick and got things moving this morning.

Today's menu was ham and coffee for breakfast. I have shrimp for lunch and maybe a couple of baby carrots. Dinner will probably be beef stew.

I'm not allowed to do exercise more than walking around the house and back and forth in front of the house.

Be healthy everyone!

Good morning! The weekend was full but also I managed to find some rest in it. Yesterday I was off, so I took advantage of the good weather. A bunch of yard work and house prep for summer, took the kids on a couple of bike rides, plenty of that stuff. By the end of the day I was so tired I fell asleep just after I tucked the kids in. My wife woke me up for bedtime, LOL.

Menu: Protein bar and coffee for breakfast, 1% cottage cheese and a small apple for both snacks today, and lunch will be a protein shake. Plenty of decaf and water. Supper is unknown but plan forward.

QOTD: I think it would be cool to have a tiny Hippo running around. Picture that in a kiddie pool in the yard, and I don't think I would leave the yard.
