What's on your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
I usually heat it, but there is something about it soaking overnight that makes it much more satisfying.

It has made a huge difference with me eating in the AM. For some reason straight up regular oatmeal I can't do, total slider not satisfied.... but this effects me differently.
I do add protein powder to it.

Good Morning!
Accountability: No self-control when I came home yesterday. It's funny because I tell my 5th graders all day that they need to practice better self-control and then I come home and snack like it's my job. I have a plan today and I am hoping I will stick with it - I cut up a birthday cake One bar and plan on snacking on half of it and then I am going to drown myself in water. I know this could lead to a big downfall if I don't figure out how to manage it. Any tips or helpful hints?
QOTD: Since I am a dog person, maybe a miniature wolf.

I read a really interesting book about change management last year for work, and a few things really stuck with me for my personal life.
One of the things they talked about is "decision fatigue"--basically that there is a finite amount of will that a person can put towards decision making every day and you can actually run out of it.
So instead of trying to get yourself to muster up a resource that has literally run out, you have to control the environment so that you physically can't make bad decisions. Basically, for the food-obessessed, it means not having those things accessible to you when you are tired at the end of the day.
Oh boy. I guess I have had Decison Fatique a lot. I want someone else to make some for me!

'Snacking like it's your job'
yeah. We can all be there. My only thought is your protein water in the afternoon is water. There is no satiation to that. It's not going to fill you. I don't think you have to eat exactly the same calories every day. 4oz of meat at dinner is a lot at your stage. I would do 3 Oz at dinner to give you more calories for snack-2.
Snack 2 could be a dense protein or make a protein shake, not Premier, in the blender or shaken that you can savor more slowly and is thicker and more filling.
