What's on your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Happy Monday. The next few weeks are going to be busy. My brother is getting married on 6/2 and I have lots of wedding stuff between now and then. The most important being I haven't decided what I'm going to wear! I should figure it out, since all of my clothes need to be altered.
JBQOTD: I'm going with beef. As long as I can have different cuts and different preparations, I'm good! Chicken lately has been hard for me to eat.
My plan:
B: Chicken breast. I brought 3.5 oz, but couldn't fini**** See comment above.
L: 4 oz of rib eye. We'll have to see how much I actually eat.
D: Shrimp and artichoke
S: Latte
No exercise for me. I did 3 spin classes yesterday, which totaled 140 minutes on the bike (the first class was a friend's birthday ride, then I'm friends will one of the instructors and she asked me to take her class, so I did. She also had a charity ride to raise money to for the leukemia/lymphoma society) so my legs are tired today. I'm going to take a rest day and maybe walk the mall after work and contemplate wedding guest dresses.

Wow, I would have died with that much time on the bike.
So exciting to pick out a dress! I have had very good luck with Talbot's petite section for nice dresses to wear to weddings. They are not cheap, but lots of good options that do not need altering.
Show us what you get!

Ooooh they are all so pretty! I love your style. Personally I love the 3rd one best! Great with the red shoes, too!
Thank you! I'm leaning towards the 3rd one, even though it requires the most alterations. You can't really tell because of the angle of the photo (and why do I look like the Leaning Tower of Pisa, mom???) but the dress is longer in the back than in the front, and I think it would look a bit better shorter.
The guy who does my hair doesn't like it. He likes the first one the best, and it needs the least amount of alterations, so we'll see.
I think #3 too. You look beautiful in it!

Happy Monday. I'm retired so Monday is just another day. I've been away from OH for quite awhile. My RNY was July 8, 2008. I maintained my loss for a number of years then I gradually regained 14 lbs. I've taken off all but 3 lbs. Grazing is a problem for me.
This past weekend I fell off the wagon. My DH had a mild heart attack on Friday. I wouldn't buy anything out of the vending machine because it was all junk. I was so hungry by the time I left the hospital. Came home and ate leftover meatballs and mashed potatoes topped off with a Twinkie. DH has a stash of sweets that I usually avoid. They are out of sight and I just don't think about them. Saturday was a disaster as far as food. Breakfast was a scone and it was downhill from there. Sunday I was back on track.
QOTD: chicken
Today's eats:
Protein coffee
Greek yogurt with a few cherries & 2 T. granola
Protein shake
Deli chicken/Wasa
Chicken & Wild Rice Casserole
