Don't make too many changes all at once. Take a few at a time and take it one day at a time. I had several starts and stops before I strung several days together, then weeks and months.

This is going to sound crazy but one of the best motivators for me getting back on track was a small postit. When I stayed on track I wrote 1 on the posit and put it on the wall where I saw it daily. Then 2, 3, 4 and before I knew it I had put a month behind me. They say it takes 30 days to break a cycle of behavior.

Congratulations! I'm right behind you with 10 years on July 8. I maintained for several years then retired and a year later started working for a temp service. In 2016, I started working full time and was hired by the company in February 2017. I retired for good in December. I'm enjoying retirement and don't have any plans to work outside the home. I love quilting and hope I can eventually open an Etsy shop to sell my crafts.

I have taken off all but 4 lbs of the 14. I'm able to wear slacks I hadn't work for awhile. I would like to lose another 20 lbs., but not sure that will happen.

Sorry to hear about your town being hit with a tornado. Hope your town is getting the help they need to rebuild.

Your pictures show your success!
