Good morning! Yesterday tuckered me right out. I rode in to work, went out land surveying all day, rode home, put new blades on the mower and cut/trimmed the lawn, fixed my bike, ate a few peanuts and some veggies and hopped on the bike. I rode for another 20 kms (about 12 miles) that ride, for a total of about 30 kms or 20 miles on the day. I didn't feel bad about skipping the gym. It was WINDY yesterday, and it was right out of the north. Beautiful night though and I loved it. The cardio was great, and my legs were warm all night. The only thing I realized about the day with the surveying etc., was I didn't get in all of my water. Will remedy that today as I'm in the office.

Menu: B: Protein bar and a coffee. MS: apple and a baby bel, same for AS. We buy these really small apples (the kids love them) and now I love them for the fibre. I've never been much for apples that I recall but they certainly help things for me. Yeah, it's sugar but I don't generally react to it. Lunch is chili (yay) and I have no idea what supper will be, but I've seen soup on the stove. God Bless my wife, she loves making those staples in our diets and she nails it every time.

QOTD: I don't recall anything in particular but I probably pinched a couple of things. My friends and I did move some statues and assorted garden gnomes from a hardware store parking lot, across the road to a grouchy old lady's house (she was just plain nasty to everyone) and arranged them all to be staring at the house. A cop saw us and just said "Have your fun, but when the call comes in from her, come put them back" and we were laughing so hard (including him) that we readily agreed. Small town Ontario. It's not like that anymore though. LOL

CarlRay, I always enjoy reading your posts, love your descriptions and your perspective on things. Your exercise puts me to shame! I especially always am touched by how you mention your wife and girls, with such appreciation and love. Just sayin'!

Happy Friday! It is actually nearly Saturday here. We are currently 16 hours ahead of Eastern Standard time.

Accountability: not horrible, but not great... I had a low sugar incident and grabbed a cracker. Need to adjust the meds again.

menu of the day:

B: PranaOn protein shake

L: Optifast bar

s: Japanese edamame cracker

d: Optifast bar and Italian veggies

QOTD: yep, inadvertently took some nail clippers. I had wandered around the shop with them and had forgotten until we were down the road!

Have fun,

mathea
