What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Good Morning and happy Friday-eve. JB, it sounds like you had a great day. It is nice that you are able to stay positive during this transition.
Accountability: Stuck to my plan for the day.
QOTD: Let's see 5 years ago there was not a consistent exercise routine, I was managing a different staff completely different than how we do now (using technology to manage remote), Em was still in elementary school and I generally just didn't feel well on a daily basis.
Time since surgery: 3 years 9 months
B: SF latte, eggbeaters, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links
L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots
S: Egg white crepe with Buddig honey roasted turkey (warmed), and Carbmaster yogurt
D: Cloud eggs and 3 pieces of turkey bacon
ES: Homemade Greek yogurt with SF syrup and ¼ cup fiber cereal
E: 6 miles ran this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch
V/W: On track
Totals: Cals:1199 Protein:121 Carbs:67 Fat:56
Have a great one!
G'morning all.
JB - enjoy your "unemployment" to the fullest.
DD finally got home yesterday after 18 hours delay. So happy to have both kids home. The house seemed fuller and noisier. I had to attend a meeting late afternoon and when I got back I could hear everybody laughing in the kitchen and it filled my heart.
QOTD: 2013 - struggling with my weight and not being happy about it. I'm sure I was on some sort of diet that I didn't stay on long enough to see any results. DD had just started high school and DS was in elementary. In some ways I miss those years (more kids related) but in other ways I'm happy they are over (weight related).
Accountability: GREAT! Didn't eat much because didn't want to upset the pouch after my snafu the night before.
B: protein shake
L: shredded Mexican style chicken
S: cheese
D: turkey Chili
Have a great day everyone.

Good morning! On my drive in today through the pretty part of my commute of farms and pastures I noticed there weren't the usual honey bee boxes everywhere- they were all gone. There used to be at least 10 different areas where the landscape was just dotted with them and I didn't see one today - not one. I know nothing about bee keeping or their life cycle. I hope they just moved them to a different location and that nothing bad happened. It made me really sad.
Accountability - My head is in the game - 100%!
QOTD - wow, good question! 5 years ago - I was a single mom, son in high school, 300 pounds, tired all the time, depressed, so stuck in my own head and just surviving, not living. Now, after some great therapy and WLS, I'm not depressed or tired anymore. I feel great, I have energy and I'm much happier. My son has left the nest -he is doing great and is a happy. I also found the love of my life and got married. 5 years ago, I never would have guessed I would be where I am today - I love my life!!
