Morning! It's been a busy weekend but today at least, I plan on vegging in my sweatpants, reading, and hydrating. Good lord, I've been awful abou****er for the last two days and my weight-plummet has come to a stall (gain, actually) and my ankles are swollen.

friday's concert was a blast, and my mom stayed over night so we celebrated mother's day yesterday instead of today. I took her to the farmers market, then we went to a garden nursery and I had her pick out whatever flowers and garden things she needed. Our tradition is that instead of getting her flowers in a bouquet, I buy her flowers to plant in her pots ;) then we went and got pedicures, and we finished the day with DH meeting us for lunch at a Mexican place. All three of us have had RNY, so all three of us shared a plate of steak fajitas...and still had leftovers. It was a huge plate.

Qotd: I used to play softball in high school and I enjoy attending baseball games, but I don't really follow anything. I'm hoping to join a local coed adult softball team next summer.

breakfast: plain Greek yogurt with a spoonful of sugar free apple jelly I picked up, coffee with Premier

lunch: several leftover options in the fridge, just not sure which one I'll want yet.

Dinner: taco meat and toppings

water, water, water!

My Mom and I did the bedding plants rather than cut flowers routine for about 15 years. It was always a fun time sharing the gardening experience! For the last two years, I have not been planting as many veggies and annuals and my Mom is downsizing her garden too, so this year we decided to celebrate with flowers that someone else was taking care of!

I sometimes struggle with knowing how to relate to my Mom since I have changed so much since I left home 35 years ago. Flowers and gardening are something that we share an interest in and we can enjoy our time together without the struggle. It is her day afterall and I like that she feels special.

Hi weekenders! Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's. I did my run, first time I've cleared a full seven miles :-) I ate and am relaxing. Called my Mom, I build up so much anxiety over the call- but in the end is always a great conversation-- I miss her.

No plans today. I wanted to plant flowers but it's cold and rainy. Hubby is in charge of cooking. I want to go to a new Marshall's that opened recently- or I'd be perfectly happy sitting on the couch all day.

Qotd: no, don'****ch sports. And that's all I've got to say about that.

212.5 today, 3 years out

m1: egg, 2oz ham, cheese stick and lenders bagel

m2: maybe oatmeal, maybe yogurt, maybe nothing

m3: ? Son said he's making me lunch

Good morning! Today I'm making Mother's Day brunch for the mommas in my life. I promised crepes and now I'm beating myself up over it because guess what - I LOVE crepes! The struggle today is going to be so real! I did find an almond flour version that I can make savory crepes with so I'll do that and put ham and eggs in it or something for myself. I was planning to do savory and sweet ones so I'll just make one more type of wrap for them. Hopefully that solves my problem

Qotd: I've never really been into sports. My brother played comp hockey all the way into college so I watched a ton of games and practices growing up. I appreciate sports but there's too many rules for each sport that I can't keep them straight and usually don't know what's going on if it's something other than hockey haha.

breakfast - coffee! And a protein shake

brunch - ham, cheese and egg almond flour crepe

dinner- tbd

snacks - yogurt and a meat stick

vits - patches

exercise - dog walk

have a great day, everyone!

Good morning everyone! Happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there -- I am in awe of everything that moms do when I can barely adult myself!

Getting ready to head out for a work trip tomorrow morning, so I have clothes spread from one side of the house to the other -- but the last load of dirty laundry is going in now so I'm making some progress!

QOTD: No, I don't do follow sports but I read enough headlines to not embarrass myself in the sports small talk at business meetings! Although, I have to say my lack of sports savvy is a bit of a joke/open secret to any of my long term customers.

Accountability - I was in Mexico tuesday to Saturday - only had one day where I missed on water goals, and I met protein every day -- calories were higher than I wanted but it's so hard to control when you're not doing the cooking -- even so based on my app, I managed to stay under my carb goals all but one day (and that one was 22 on my goal of 20 so not horrible). Kept up on my vitamins too -- at one point someone asked what I was "snacking on" and I said "calcium chews, would you like one?"---they chose to go get a treat from the restaurant instead, lol.

Menu:

B/S - coffe + premiere

L - cheese and salami stick X 2

D - turkey meatballs

Totals: 536 Calories, 67 protein, 14 carbs

Qotd: I am a sports nut. Especially Red Sox baseball! I am also a huge fan of DotA2 Esports. My mom was a crazy competitive person who was rabid about all sports and played video games herself. In fact when we got a Nintendo system when I was a kid it was hers not mine and my brothers. As I got older sports and video games were a way to connect with her. On this mother's day I really wish my mom were still alive so she could watch the Sox game today and especially Mookie Betts... she would have adored him.

Accountability: I finally increased my calories a little more yesterday! The butternut squash soup was fabulous and I loved the addition of the PB fit to my yogurt.

Bf: 1/3 premier protein, 2oz Siggi's yogurt, 6grams PBFit

L: 1/3 premier protein, 4oz chicken bone broth

D: 1/3 premier protein, 4oz butternut squash soup

S: creamy protein jello cup

(About 380 calories)
