Sitting on the porch enjoying the temps for now supposed to get to 97. I do not like the heat!

I've been doing laps in my house since I got home, so today I'm going to do the laps with the swifter. While holding my medicine cup of fluid. Multitasking!

QOTD: in our younger family we would each have a special day, but the older we get the less so. In fact my husband's sister will text me, and my baby sister's husband bday is 3 days b4 mine so for the last few years she's been cooking a dinner for the both of us. It's a lot of work for her, she usually fixes Mediterranean which always includes stuffed grape leaves. Her daughter, my heart, is taking over more and more of the prep. She is a star!

Have a great Saturday!

I know that multitasking usually makes sense, but even pushing the swifter can engage the abs and be too much for that soon post-op. Be easy on yourself!

As for the heat, I always HATED the heat because I was a sweaty mess. This summer, 125 pounds lighter, my hands are still cold and the temperatures aren't bothering me like the used to. By next summer, you may enjoy the heat!

You might be right. I didn't seem to struggle pushing the swifter but I am having some belly pain tonight. So many things could cause it I guess. And it's not the hernia incision site hurting , it's to my left. So maybe I'll just let the roomba take over tomorw, lol.

Hello werkenders. Has anybody tried the "Beyond" veggie meat patties or sausages? DW is a vegetarian and we get the sausages from Whole Foods and they're really good. Anyway she bought me the burgers so I guess that's on the menu at some point. The protein content is decent too.

QOTD: Birthdays are nothing special but a night out is usual. Dinner somewhere nice. I've got that super big milestone birthday coming up in 30 months and it feels like I'm on death row. Yeah I'm a real drama queen.

Lets just say I was born during the Nixon administration.
