You are too kind. That's actually my daughter, Jade with my son, Kye.
My mom says Jade is just like me when I was her age but I don't see it. A lot of people say that that we are very similar, especially now that I have lost weight and you can see my face!

Good afternoon,
I don't know what's wrong with me, I don't want to get up in the morning, I feel really depressed yesterday and today.
I ate lousy yesterday, went out to eat and my friend and I stopped at Dairy Queen's and had a blizzard. Didn't look up the calories until I was putting it into fitness pal. It was over 1000 calories. Oops
Qotd my friend became homeless so I've been helping her with rides and helped her move her things to storage, let her stay for a short time because I get assistance with my rent and can only have a visitor for two weeks so I had to dropped her off at the homeless shelter the other day but yesterday, she got a call for transitional housing, I helped her get moved there. She keeps telling me and others that I've been her life saver. I've been a true friend
not hungry today, it 145 pm and still haven't eaten so I might have a protein shake in a little bit or my omelette after I have my coffee.
Dinner is up in the air because it's support group night and never know what they're serving.
Have a good day

Morning all! Happy Friday!
I have a lot of packing and shipping of orders to do today and tomorrow. I spent a good part of yesterday reorganizing my supplies so that I know where everything is - I bought a ton of these colorful plastic tubs which are about the size of a shoebox, perhaps a little larger, so I can label them alphabetically and know what's what. I'm glad to have them. Plus they're rainbow pretty!
I love seeing the photos you guys post - thank you for allowing me these glimpses into your lives!
My son and daughter-in-law have invited me (and, I'm sure, my DIL's mom, plus my DIL's sisters' MILs, etc.) to their house for brunch on Sunday. I really look forward to that! They mentioned that everyone should feel free to bring some food or drink, so I will probably make some deviled eggs.
I went to pick more lilacs because they are so, so fragrant. We're at peak here just now, and lilacs are such ephemeral flowers. Next week they'll be gone. I do love them so much - my living room is so beautifully perfumed! I'm going to go back there to take actual cuttings so that I can try rooting and planting them here, but probably not this week.
QOTD: People have told me I am looking slim, which is nice, though only true when you consider where I've been. But I like best the unspoken approving looks I sometimes receive. Even though that's all about surface and appearance and not about anything deeper, it feels good. It's been a long time!
First: Tea, tea and more tea!
B: An egg with a little smoked cheddar
L: Turkey with a small bit of mayo
D: Not sure yet but it will be protein forward! Maybe some shrimp.
S: I have been adding in some calories over the past couple of weeks - for over 10 months I kept my intake below 600 calories but am feeling a little hungrier now - it's not bad but it exists, so I am having a 4th meal/snack these days. Maybe today I'll have some Greek yogurt.
This photo is of Mia, my little Siamese who went blind a couple of years ago. This one was snapped when she was still sighted. Cats love boxes! The day she was in this box was incredibly hot - over 100 degrees - and those packing peanuts retain heat. Still, she was certain that that box had been put there just for her!
Have a wonderful day today, my friends!
