What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?

Happy Thursday. Yesterday was a good day food wise, and I was on plan. I was rewarded with . . . nothing. Not a single ounce. Oh well. JB, we could have set up a chat. I had horrible insomnia last night, and I'm typing this with my eyes closed. It's going to be a loooooonnnnnngggggg day.

JBQOTD: Laundry. I LOVE to fold clothes. I don't iron (I have a steame) but I feel the same way. I love watching the wrinkles disappear.

My plan:

B: 2 eggs scrambled with .5 oz of cheddar cheese

L: Roasted chicken breast (this is going to be challenging. It was a bit difficult last night fresh out of the oven because it's very dense. Warmed in a microwave may make it totally unmanageable. So lunch may be a big old ????

D: Sirloin steak (I think. Depends on if I go to the gym)

S: Latte

E: I usually don't go on Thursday, but it's one of the instructor's birthday rides, and it should be fun. I have clothes in my car just in case

Hi all! Happy Thursday!

Starting this afternoon I'm going to be watching a lovely black lab for a few days - I have to monitor her carefully when she is around the cats, but that being said, she is a smart, sweet girl. I love going for walks with her and her exercise needs will help me to double my own exercise. Win!

QOTD: I like to paint. As in, paint the walls. (also, as in watercolors, oil paints, etc.etc.) I love that it transforms a space so dramatically, so quickly! I'm not quite as fond of prepping for painting, but the painting itself I really enjoy!

First: Tea, tea, and more tea!

B: Tuna, smoked gouda

L: Turkey, a little mayo

D: BBQ pulled pork

S: Probably some Greek yogurt with a little Torani sugar-free syrup.

I really am enjoying the tuna I've been having over the last week or so, but I don't want to overdo it, as I know it's not healthy to eat too much of it. It's been so long since I could eat fish without it being horribly painful! I've always liked all kinds of seafood. I'm so happy that phase of being unable to eat it has passed!

And my big news, drumroll please:

This morning I FINALLY made it to Onederland! Hallelujah! I kept trying to take a photo of the 199.6 display on the scale but every time I picked up my phone it bumped up to 200+ again! LOL! Finally I waited until the number stopped flashing and then quickly snapped it before the scale reacted. Here is my photo of the scale. I know it's silly to immortalize such a moment, but hey, it's a victory! I'm down exactly 154 pounds as of today, 2 days before my 11-month surgiversary! Mind-blowing.

Have a wonderful day today, my RnY friends!

Thank you Amy! I've been inching towards this for what seems like weeks! I know it's just a number, a d still far from my goal, but I'm so happy to be back in the 1's!
