What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning all! I'm in a foul mood today and probably should have stayed home in bed, but I am saving all my leave time for my surgery so here I am in the office at my desk. I have a sneaking suspicion that I won't be very productive today...oh well, most days I am an over achiever, so it balances out, right?
Part of the problem is that yesterday was a long stressful day in the office, but I did manage to go to the pool and do some laps and Aqua Zumba. It really did help! I hope to make it to Deep Water Aerobics class tonight if I can. The water and the exercise really help to adjust my mind and body!
QOTD: While I try hard to be friendly and pleasant in social situations, I really do need my down time and alone time. That is partly why I like to exercise alone and find that I need time for laps, not just classes. After a class, I come home and isolate myself in my office for at least half an hour to have some down time. It is part of the reason that I'm not sure that I want the promotion to be a supervisor at work. Too much people time.
Menu:
Breakfast: scrambled eggs, turkey sausage
Snack: Cappuccino protein shake, almonds
Lunch: turkey wrap with spinach
Snack: turkey breast, apple, almonds
Dinner: will depend on whether I go to the pool this evening.
Exercise: long walk at lunch; maybe Deep Water Aerobics

I enjoy the workout variety of my water classes, but when I swim laps, I just zone out and only think about my breathing and strokes. It is my meditation time in a way. Just be in the moment and work my body. For at least that hour, everything else just doesn't matter.

hi all
weight not budging and making me bonkers. Good improvement though- I cleaned out my closet of almost all my XS as I don't think I'm going there again along with size 0 -some small small 2's. Weight training has really changed my lower body and not sure my arse can go back there lol- and if so- a long long time from now. taking to consignment shop and hopefully will get $$$ Life is TOO short to be hung up on clothes that DON'T fit your body! Taking 1/2 day and going to my mom's for a visit and late lunch/dinner.
Changed up my macros to 45/45/10 and will work that for the next 2 weeks to see where it goes. also my MCT oil and probiotics came from amazon so yippie for that.

QOTD: Hmmm... walking streets of NYC with no destination. Writing resumes with people as well as proofreading and editing.
Accountability: I will be honest what I write on here is a plan rarely the final destination. I like it because it makes me think about my day. Yesterday I ran out of calories at dinner. Oops. So just drank water rest of night.
