oh no! Too bad about the (no) picture - but I've sometimes forgotten to snap pictures of things, too, and later wished I would have. I'm so happy you got to meet them!!

I"m an introvert as well, so I understand the being alone thing! I need it to recharge my batteries!

The fact that you forgot to take a picture just means that you'll have to get together again!

I like my alone time, too, so much so that I often have to prompt myself to get out and interact. It wouldn't be unbalanced except for the fact that I work for myself, at my home, which can quite easily lead to days without spending time with anyone else. I'm not at all miserable with this arrangement - I like the freedom of it, but I made a decision it would be good for me to make new friends and aerate myself socially a bit more! Just the same, being alone is lovely and relaxing. I am not shy - I can and do talk to everyone, initiate conversations in the grocery line, etc. I actually like both, but being alone without other humans is most relaxing. Or maybe it's mostly habit!

Sorry you had insomnia JB. Having your job up in the air can do that to you. I'm sleeping better than I ever have since I retired. Hmmm...

Today we go to Boston for DHs clinical trial appointment. I am planning on stopping at the New Balance outlet to get him new sneakers. Does anyone know if the Avon one is as good as the Brighton one these days? Avon would be easier to go to on the way home from Boston but we could go over to Brighton as well.

QOTD: I like to power wash once I get going. I have a bit of inertia about getting it out, but once I start I can't stop until every bit of mold and dirt is gone. It kind of brings out some slight OCD I guess.

2 Years, 1.5 months post-op

Always lots of coffee...

B: Eggs scrambled with cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Deli turkey OR Tuna salad with pickles and cottage cheese (depends on ending time of Boston appointment)

D: Leftover deconstructed low-carb pizza

S: SF pudding

I think Boston and Avon are about par with each other. The Boston one is bigger and splashier, but I find it is pretty sparse on selection. Avon is in a smaller, older space, but I think they probably have the same amount of stuff! Also, in Avon you are right next to IKEA! Win!

Thanks JB, I was hoping you'd see this and know. I am definitely planning on an IKEA stroll!

Sweet! Have fun!

I wish I could join you! If it was next week I would have hopped over and split a plate of Swedish meatballs with you, but I am stuck at work for another 4 days...
