Good Morning (????). Well, it's still middle of the night here... I was struck with the insomnia bug on a day when my alarm was already set for 3:30am, so after tossing and turning since 1am, I finally quit and got up.

Accountability: Good, but I switched out dinner. I didn't get home until 8pm and I was too tired to anything except pull out lunch meat and eat it.

QOTD: What is something you like that other people hate? I really like ironing! It's so satisfying to get everything all crisp and straight after being so wrinkly :) I also like being in crowds--not to wait in line, but a big festival or rally with zillions of people is fun to me.

Good morning! Had a fun day yesterday meeting Karen and Saralisa! We met up at the airport while we waited for Saralisa's flight to get in. I didn't think about it, but we should have snapped a photo to post here.

Mans to make my gardening heart happy, when I left for work yesterday, I had no bean sprouts. When I returned from the airport, I looked and every single bean had popped out of the dirt! You know sometimes I get caught up in soil temperature, watering schedules, and if I'm feeding the garden the proper nutrients. But really, the plants know what to do.

Qotd: something I like that other people hate? Being alone! Lol I know there are more introverts out there but I feel like I'm surrounded by extroverts who don't understand that a Friday night home with a good book and a cat to snuggle is exactly what I normally want. I was also never upset about being single. My husband and I do a lot of things separately, have our own hobbies, etc and it works really well for us. When we do spend time together it's usually good quality time.

Breakfast: my usual coffee with Premier

lunch: smoked sausage with cooked cabbage

dinner: up in the air. Maybe meatballs again. I've found since surgery I no longer care if I eat the same things over and over. I craved a lot of variety before.

That's great that you met Karen and Saralisa! You know I like to be alone too. In fact I need it at times.

I'm another introvert even though I step out of my comfort zone and hang with the crowd often,my natural tendency is to sit by myself and read a good book or knit with Lily at my feet. I need my peace and quiet time alone.

I'm the same way! I can step out and socialize but I need plenty of "me" time to mentally recharge afterward. I wouldn't describe myself as "shy" either, and I feel like introverts are expected to be. I'll talk to anyone! I just don't need to :P

people use those terms "shy" and "introvert" interchangeably, but they really aren't. I'm not shy. I have no trouble meeting people, teaching classes, doing public speaking - but I need my alone time to recharge. Being surrounded by people all the time tends to exhaust me. That's the difference - "introverted" - at least according to the psychological definition, describes us. Extraverts tend to get their energy from - and prefer - external sources. We introverts get it from within.

I do think "shy" and "introverted" often coexist - but not always!

I loved getting to meet you, Cassie! You are as beautiful inside as you are outside! And I know, I thought of that, too, why didn't we take a picture? Silly us!

Being alone is the first thing I thought of, too, when I read the QOTD! For two introverts, we talked together quite well, didn't we?

Thank you so much for coming to the airport to meet me!

I'm glad I was able to meet you! And yes, for being a couple of introverts I think we managed nicely, haha

The lilacs filled my whole car with their scent on the way home. I can't wait for my own to bloom, they're only just budding
