I'm so sorry, I don't have a cell phone. I'll be in the waiting area when you come in the front doors. I'll be wearing jeans and a blue tie-dyed top that is mostly navy with some aqua blue in it. I'll have on aqua shoes. I have longish brown hair and glasses. Do you think you will be able to find me?
I'm sure I will :) see you then!

Good morning! Kicking the carbs is tough. I love when they hold no power! I'm about there, but I'm still feeling hungry and over eating - even vaguely acceptable foods. I had a million carrots, cucumbers and red pepper strips w/hummus and several handfuls of almonds yesterday then didn't eat dinner because my stomach was upset... I need to go back to protein machine mode and cut this snacking - 3 squares of dense protein.
Accountability - I think I covered that ^
QOTD - We have a lot of farmers markets and local farms selling eggs, meats and veggies boxes that deliver. Grocery shopping is so different post op and I haven't gone to a Farmers market in ages. Sad, really.
17 mo post op - 169.9
b- coffee coffee coffee, HB eggs
l-greek salad w/gyro meat
d-curry chicken over cauli-rice

Have a great day everyone!

Just "weighing in" on my day...
I had a meeting that as always goes SOOO much longer than necessary. Afterward I was commenting to a co-worker who was headed to the gym that I hate long meetings because they delay my exercise. We have agreed that all future meetings will be held in the gym and that the only attendees who are allowed to talk are folks who can talk and do cardio at the same time! That certainly would make the meeting shorter! Oh, well, I am headed to the pool after work for some laps and Aqua Zumba. Gotta sweat out the stress!

Today marks one full week since I was discharged from the hospital. I am genuinely amazed by how my body is doing. Getting worn out quickly after doing anything is still a thing, but everything else is going better than I could have hoped for.
I am planning on trying to get on the treadmill today for a light bit of exercise. Exercise was something I enjoyed and did a lot pre surgery. Unfortunately going back to training and Pilates is still a long ways off.
Qotd: There is definitely a lot of fresh produce, eggs and even meat around here. The only places I know of though for that sort of thing are farmers markets, and they get way too crowded for me to go. I have a massive "crowd phobia" so places like Pike place market are just out.
Accountability: Yesterday, right on plan. Even though my Red Sox lost to the Yankees.
