I might have to see if my TJ carries these.

You never know with them. I have 3 in my area and they each have slightly different stuff - odd. Like frozen chopped leaks - only one of the 3 carry that product. However, all 3 have the puffs, so far. They are 99 cents in the popcorn chip aisle. Big Orange elephant on the front, I think. My local Fresh Market - Euro style grocery - love them - has something very similar for $3.99 for about the same size bag. So TJ works for me ;)

Good Morning! I can't wait until you can share about the job! I got my run in this morning-it wasn't an easy one today. I am not sure why but occasionally my legs feel like lead and that was today.

Accountability: I added a banana and somersaults last night

QOTD: We only have carpets in the bedrooms now (the owners redid the flooring about a year and a half ago). The rest of the house is a combo of wood, linoleum (kitchen)and tile(bathrooms). I prefer to not have carpet at all.

Time since surgery: 3 years 8 months

B: SF latte, eggbeaters, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots

S: Buddig corned beef pack, string cheese, mixed nuts, and Carbmaster yogurt

D: "my" egg salad in a low carb pita, spinach salad and 2 squares of dark chocolate

ES: Homemade Greek yogurt with SF syrup and ¼ cup fiber cereal

E: 6 miles ran this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1230 Protein:125 Carbs:80 Fat:53

Have a great one!

Yesterday was on plan mostly. I had planned 4oz of pureed soup at dinner but by the time that came around there was no way that was happening. So I only had 3oz.

I got a bit of a concern building. Yesterday a gal in another support group posted about how she failed her diet. Just one meal and she "failed". I have always struggled a bit with the all or nothing mentality. I am going on 4 weeks of perfectly on plan eating and am starting to worry about when the time comes for slip ups to happen, and they will happen I am human. After so long of being on point will my first mistake send me reeling? I don't think so... but the possibility is there, just have to remain aware of it.

Qotd: We built our house in 2015. Beautiful hardwoods on the main floor, basement and upstairs bedrooms are all carpet. This was mostly a comfort and warmth decision but in retrospect I wish we had done more hardwood in the basement.

Bf: 1/3 premier protein, 2oz Siggi's yogurt

L: 1/3 premier protein, Pacific bone broth chicken with Ginger

D: 1/3 premier protein, 2oz Amy's lentil soup pureed.

S: creamy protein jello

most (maybe all?) of us overdo it once in awhile. The trick is to get right back at it and don't let it become a relapse!

Also helpful is to record everything including excessive calories. And to step on the scale the next morning and face the truth! That helps to nip sliding any further in the bud.

My biggest struggle is always "all or nothing thinking". It's rough! I really hoped I would be over it after 9 years post WLS but it hits me hard, over and over again.

I'm not sure if you have seen our AMAW challenge, but it is an "all meat all week" challenge where we all commit to eating only meat to detox completely from carbs. I struggle with this sooooo much! I love doing the challenge, because I am "all in", but when it ends I really freak out. My brain tells me that if I am not "all in", I am "out" and I find myself making worse choices that I did before the challenge, plus I do a lot more negative self-talk.

Surgery doesn't do a damn thing to stop those of us who have conditioned ourselves to think like that, so stay cognizant of when you have those thoughts, and hopefully you can learn to bounce back.
