What's on your Sunday menu RNYers?
I fee the same!! I don't trust what is in Taco Bell food, but I can verify that at least my local Taco Johns franchises use fresh beef and chop their vegetables in the morning

Lol for the last 9 years of my 10 year employment there I couldn't STAND the ole's anymore! But after I quit, I craved them constantly. I actually gained more weight once I left than while I was working there

Morning everyone!! I did my run. Today in Philly it's the Broad St run, a popular 10 mile race. I didn't enter, it's loterry based, but think I'll try for it next year. A newspaper guy who I see on my run every Sunday asked me why I didn't run it today. I'm doing shy of 7 miles now, I think I can squeeze out 10- even if I have to take the last 3 miles slow.
Ate breakfast-- today I need to clean inside (we've been focused a lot on the yard lately) and cook.
Qotd: My first job was as a ride operator at a in local amusement park. It's was mindlessly easy, but hot. But i barely had to move- so even the heat wasn't all that bad.
211 today, 3 years out
m1: egg/cheese; 5 turkey sausage links
m2: Greek yogurt,berries/banana
m3:?
m4: I want curry chicken-- got to see if I have the ingredients.

Do you do many races? I've done a few 5Ks but I don't think I will get any in this year with so much time off with surgeries. I like the alone time I have when I run (and swim) but races are also a good challenge to work toward.

No I don't do races. Partly because I'm cheap and I know I can run for free on my own. Also because I run for health, not competition. I guess if I get bored I could start doing races. But I see so many get into the races and eventually interest just fizzles out.

Still having to take it easy post surgery, but I am hoping that I can help my husband with laundry. Eating was on plan yesterday and today I am adding 2 more ounces of soup to the plan... but we'll see if that actually happens.
Qotd: My first job was at an ice rink in the town I grew up in. My mom worked there so it was an easy interview. I was pretty much a "rink rat" to start with, working the snack bar, and skate guarding. Until I was older and had more training, then I started teaching kids to skate and eventually drove the Zamboni. Worked there on and off for 13 years until I moved to the west cost.
Bf: 1/3 premier protein, 2 oz Skyr yogurt with Stir water flavoring, and milk of Magnesia
L: 1/3 premier protein, 2oz pureed chicken noodle soup
D: 1/3 premier protein, 2oz pureed lentil soup
S: 1 serving sugar free jello (black cherry mmm)
I love the black cherry SF Jello! You may also want to add in some SF popsicles. They count as fluid and you can chew on them!

Hi everyone! Happy Sunday!
I know it's very late - 4 PM here - but it does help my focus to post, even when I'm late.
Today is an incredibly beautiful day here! Yesterday was, as well. Last night I went to a Cinco Dr Mayo party. It was potluck and I didn't feel like either cooking or eating, so I brought blue corn chips, guacamole and salsa for other people to eat. Someone made some chili, and there was lots of cheese, so I had a little of both. I find it a little difficult to attend these carb-heavy events, as there is so little that I really can eat. But I have made the decision to circulate and socialize, meet people and make friends, so I try to keep a grip, and focus on talking to people and making new friends. One sort of cool thing is that I squeezed myself (and I really do mean squeezed) into a beautiful tiered fiesta-looking long skirt. It looked fine because of its cut, but really at the waist and half-way down my hips, it was awfully tight. But it was a smallish size! Honestly, it's silly to take that as a win since it really was way too tight even though it didn't appear to others that it was. I think it'll take another 20-30 pounds off before that skirt can slip on and off the way it's meant to! But it was fun to wear because it was so pretty, and long and swirly.
First: tea and more tea!
B: turkey breast
L: Starkist tuna salad pouch
D: likely more turkey breast, maybe a little cheese
Enjoy your Sunday evening, my friends!
