What's on your Sunday menu RNYers?

Good morning! I am trying to be uber organized about my menu this week. I actually went through and threw away about an entire garbage bag filled with foods that have sugar or carbs in them, that were lurking in the house. Most of them were just random jars of sauces and dressings I have tried and were sitting around taking up space in the fridge, anyway. But I am back on the "for real" detox from carbs wagon today!
QOTD: After logging a million jobs as a neighborhood babysitter, my first job was at a fast food hot-dog franchise called Coney Express. It was with a terrible mean and abusive boss who gave me a "me too" story to tell for life. Asshole. But after that I went to McDonalds and really liked it there. I learned a really good work ethic and made good friends there.

Good morning menu friends! Lily and I got our 4 miles in already and I'm getting ready for church. We'll do another mile after supper too. Post op 5 years 8.25 months and weight up a bit at 119.2 today. Accountability fair but there was a biscuit eaten that wasn't planned or needed. Thats that and today is a new day--plus I left the biscuits at the inlaws! QOTD I started babysitting when I was 12 but my first real job was at the Dairy Queen for 2 years while in high school. After I graduated high school I took the CNA class and worked as a CNA during the summers while I was in college. During the college year I worked in the dishroom in the cafeteria. CNA was definetely the hardest job I ever had but I really loved it. I probably should have gone into nursing instead of teaching home ec--maybe I would have lasted more than 1 year. After I quit teaching I went back to being a CNA then took schooling to be a certified respiratory therapy technician which I loved and did till my RA forced me to go on disability. Enough rambling! Heres the food B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 4 oz deli turkey and cheese 4 baby carrots D 31/2 oz baked chicken and 1/2 c green beans S 5 oz cottage cheese with 1 T no sugar added jelly. Have a great day full of smart and conscious choices everyone!

QOTD: My first job was at a local miniature golf course and driving range. It was for a friend of my dad and it was the summer I was 14 and I had so much fun. When there was no customers I could read a book or play they owners did not care.
Food for the day:
B: eggs and ham
L: hot dog
D: chicken
Have a great day everyone...
Good morning! Today is the first farmers market of the year, and I love going to the Omaha farmers market! I grow a lot of my own produce these days, but I still like to go as a fun way to get my walking in, and people watch. Oh! And I ask nearly every dog owner there if I may pet their dog. No other plans for today except maybe laundry.
Qotd: I started babysitting around age 9, and I helped my aunt with a cleaning business, but my first taxable job (good way to put it) was Taco Johns, a franchise that I believe is only around the Midwest. It's similar to Taco Bell, but I can attest that Taco Johns at least used fresh ground beef ;) I worked there for 10 years, all through high school and college. It wasn't glamorous but I learned a lot of customer service skills and the friends I made there were like family. I still speak to most of them to this day, and if I'm ever in dire straights I know the franchise owner would let me go back and pick up some extra hours again. He did when I went through my divorce and needed the extra money.
Breakfast: coffee with Premier. I tried solid food for breakfast yesterday and it came back up. I just don't think pouchie likes solids first thing.
lunch: probably leftover chicken enchilada (filling only) with a dollop of sour cream
dinner: something lazy. I bought some Florentine chicken burgers at Costco and I might throw them on the BBQ grill.
