OK - here we go. Gorgeous day out today! I went to yoga at 7:30 and when I got home around 9:00, DH had put the screens in the windows in the original part of the house. Glorious! Wonderful breeze, cats sitting on the window sills - everyone happy! (we have traditional windows - with storm windows and screens - in the old part of our house. Newer parts have those newer, combo windows, so no need to change them when the seasons change)

I did wonderfully yesterday with my eating, but the scale isn't budging. UGH. However, the last couple of days I've been mixing Metamucil in with my Crystal Light in the evening to keep me from getting too hungry at night (and it does work...), so I may just be...shall we say...full of it. I'll give it a few more days before taking drastic action.

QOTD: I have a really hard time thinking of these, which is why I rarely jump in first! SO...what's the first car you had, and what's been your favorite car? My first car was a 1966 Opel Kadett that I bought from my boyfriend at the time for like $300. It had manual transmission and...get this...a choke! I think my favorite car was a sporty Honda CRX that I bought when I was 30, but unfortunately, it was badly vandalized in a parking garage several years later. Since it was 17 years old at the time and had almost 200K miles on it, it wouldn't have made financial sense to have it fixed - I was so upset and really missed that car!

2 years 11 months out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt with 1.5 T apple butter mixed in and 1/3 C high fiber cereal on top

MS: coffee with half & half, Miralax/protein peach melba shake

L: "light" egg sandwich (made with turkey sausage, egg white, and a bagel that's had most of the middle cut out)

AS: hopefully none since my calories are already high for the day - may have to eat an early dinner!

D: pork chop with cherry/cranberry sauce, vegetables

ex: yoga

QOTD: First car was a Datsun 310 GX which when I saw the ad in the paper I figured it would be ?30 points cooler? than a Datsun 280 which was like a really hot sports car back in the 80?s. Spoiler alert: It wasn't.

Foodwise I have a Costco prime steak that I defrosted and must eat this weekend. Those foodsaver machines really do work well.

Good afternoon,

I just got up about 20 minutes ago. I was up and down all night. Also binge eat during the night and morning on potato chips.

My friend wants to go shopping for a bed frame.

Qotd my first car was 1969 Dodge Dart, it was my grandma car. My favorite was my brand new 1989 Ford Ranger that I brought. I had it for 14 years. I'm enjoying my car I have now since January that my brother gave me, 2004 Buick Lasabre. It has a lot of gadgets that I never had on a car.

B ham and cheese omelette, string cheese and mini bagel with cream cheese

L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple

D not sure

Have a good day

I think half the planet owned one of those Dodge Darts in the 60s and 70s - my grandparents had one, too! I never understood that one - they must have been really reliable, because they sure didn't win any awards in the looks department!

Happy weekend, everyone! Today I have no plans other than a friend is having a small get together at her new place tonight and she wants me to come. I love her so much and I will show up, but I have bouts of weird social anxiety and I'm not looking forward to having to pretend that I'm totally comfortable around all these people I don't know. i can't stand the phrase "fake it till you make it" but I guess that's going to be my motto for the evening LOL

accoubtability: not great. I ended up having a scotch on the rocks (I know, I know). That of course lead into me feeling like I need to bake keto cheesecake bites. They're not awful but they are 187 cal for one little muffin sized portion. So now those are lurking in my fridge and trying to lure me in like a siren.

qotd: my first truck was a maroon Ford single cab pickup. I bought it from my Dad's boss. That truck was so good to me and I was good to it. I now have a Jeep Commander and it is by far my favorite vehicle. It's perfect for what I need. Big enough to load the dogs into, big enough to load camping and outdoors things or moving furniture and other larger items. It's got plenty of space without feeling like I'm in a super huge SUV. I love this car! I'm going to be so sad when it gets to end of its road life. Pretty sure I still have plenty of time before that happens though :)

b- keto cheesecake bite lol, going to mix a protein shake in a minute and probably grab a latte for my long dog walk within the hour

My first day posting on these threads. I am only 5 days out but I think things like this are important, accountability.

My first car was a 2005 Toyota Corolla LE. I adored it. It was named Nemo and I got it used in 2006. It had spent the first part of it's life as a rental car. Still though, I kept it for 11 years and despite replacing it with an amazing new car I miss it so much.

Breakfast: Milk of Magnesia, 4oz premier protein, 2 oz skyr yogurt with coconut pineapple Stir water flavoring.

Lunch: 4oz premier protein, sugar free jello (about a tablespoon)

Dinner: 2oz Amy's lentil soup blended, 4oz premier protein

About 240 calories.
