Good Afternoon Now Fellow RNYers!
Surgery was yesterday, everything went well, just got home today.
So how long can I expect this intense incision pain?
Thanks all

my abs were pretty sore for about a week, I used the liquid norco til about day 4 and then just at night for the next 3 days or so, but then it was manageable with tylenol as long as I didnt move too suddenly. I went back to work after 2 weeks, still slightly sore, but by about 4 weeks post op the pain was pretty much gone and by 6 weeks I was back to normal activities and cleared for exercize besides walking.

Hi Haley! Congratulations on being on the Loser's Bench!
It's hard to say how long your pain will last, as that varies from person to person. I had very little pain except when they first woke me up after surgery to ask me how much pain I was in! After that I really felt my discomfort was well managed. I hope that you will feel better every day, and that your pain will subside very soon. Hang in there! It will all improve! In the meantime, walk walk walk, and sip sip sip!

Congratulations!! Unfortunately, pain is variable, hopefully yours won't last too long!
