What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?
The MD event is always the first full weekend of May at the Howard Co. Fairgrounds. It is LOTS of fun with things to buy, yummy food (PROTEIN!), classes, animals, sheepdog trials and much more! You should plan to come some year!

on the train on my way into Manhattan for a videoed Mock Interview session with the career office at my graduate school. Business attire and it's supposed to be 88. Ugh.
I brought a change of clothes and plan to go to lunch at this place I follow on IG. Hu Kitchen. Their tag line on IG is: Clean Eating | Dirty Minds. Ha. It's grass fed gluten free and all that Jazz . Then I may take a walk over yo the high line which is a park they made on an old elevated train trestle. That and Starbucks stops are what I call 'urban hiking'
food? So far- coffee, hard boiled eggs, and I brought my overnight oats in a disposable coffee cup. I brought mr cheese O's and a Quest Bar I don't like that much as emergency snacks.
Pics are me at the beach this week and my son turned 30 on Monday. How do I have a 30 year old? My grandkids holding up their fingers to try to say how old daddy is.

Good luck today and your grandchildren are adorable! My third DD turns 30 next weekend (on Mother's Day). I'm having a hard time believing that as well.

Just be yourself in your interview and you'll do just fine. Youngest son was fired from his last job after never being reprimanded or written up and when he asked why they said"you're on probation we don't have to give you a reason". The mayor wanted to give a friends son a job. The interviews and search for a full time job with benefits is really zapping him. He has a job he likes now as a range officer at a gun range but its part time(20 hours a week) and no potential for more. He can't even make his student loan payments on that so we're doing what parents do and helping him out.

Your grandkids are little cuties! We walked a big chunk of the HiLine last summer when I was in NYC for meetings -- it was a team building. It was cool with all the people and some the little areas where there was life music and it was great but so hot and humid.

So glad it's Friday. Going to be a busy day, but then that means the day will go by quickly. Busy weekend planned, garden center, planting tomatoes, laundry cleaning house, church and then rest Sunday afternoon.
QOTD I don't really have an NSV yet but hope to soon.
Still on liquid pre op and will go to clear liquids on Monday. My surgical nurse interview was yesterday and she told me Dr wants me to come to hosp Monday(surgery is scheduled for Tuesday) to have lab work done. I'm on my 2nd round of antibiotics for h. Pylori so if I'm still positive Monday, surgery might be postponed. Hope not, but it is what it is.
Here is a pic of me on last day of solid foods before liquids. I was out to lunch with my girlfriends from work. They are all retires except for me. We get together every other month and on even years we take a trip. Good to have girl time.
Have a good weekend!
Pamela
