Motrin/Ibuprofen
Hi everyone! I had my RNY in 2009. I also have MS, which is VERY PAINFUL. Tylenol AND Tylenol with Codeine are like placebos for me. I am on Oxycodone, but because of the Opioid Crisis, I'm given a ridiculously low dose as well as a ridiculously minimal quantity per month. One med that always worked for me pre-op is Ibuprofen. I don't know what to do. I'm being told "no Motrin" by the doctors, yet they refuse to help me with giving me an adequate amount of Oxycodone. In fact, they just cut me down by 20 pills a month. I'm so upset and in so much pain. I guess what I want to know, is how many post-ops have taken Ibuprofen with no issues?

Have you tried Kratom? Red strains of Kratom can help with pain. It is still legal in most states.
That plus corydalis ( herb) for pain.
I can't think of considering NSAIDS. Nope. Too much risk.

Aleve is NSAIDS, I would not use it.

Are you in a state where medical marijuana is legal? It helps lots of people with chronic pain.
Ibuprofen is a crapshoot i don't think I'd bet on, certainly not for daily use. The cure might be worse than the initial pain.
I'm surprised they're cutting you off with an MS diagnosis
