I'm so glad to see you on: I have missed you! I love the bangs on you btw - they definitely make you look younger.

All I can say is RESET button. We always need to remember that we can press it at any time and get back to basics. And if you think you need additional help, definitely seek it out (individual, group or both).

Welcome back!

So glad to see you post,Teena. You have done so good so don't give up on yourself now. Just take it one choice at a time and you've got this. Drastic weight loss is so hard to get used to. I still am amazed at how thin I look in pictures as I don't see myself that way at all--and I'm nearly 6 years out. Therapy is a great help to wrap your head around all these things and make sure to keep making the time to come here too.

I think the "you are worth it" is what I'm struggling most with.

Happy May!!! It seems like the year has just flown by to me. I see my surgeon today for my 2nd post op, hoping to get all restrictions removed.

Starting these conversations must be a huge responsibility for everyone and I want to say how much I appreciate; how seeing what everyone eats and plans is a huge thing for me as I moved from phase to phase -- when I was on just purees it was so nice to have tangible evidence that there was "food" again in my future and now it helps keep me on track!

QOTD - when my sister's now ex-husband told me straight faced that the moon landing was a hoax, I tried to persuade her to change her mind and not marry him. I did end up getting an amazing niece and nephew out of it (and they know the moon landing happened) so I never say I told you so.

Accountability: I didn't feel great yesterday so swapped out my dinner for a protein water; did meet the minimum protein, under the 20 carbs and under my planned calories though.

today.

Breakfast: 1 egg bite

s: protein coffee X 2

L: cheese stick and baby bel

D: 3 oz roast beef, 1 oz pepperoncini

Totals: 595 Calories, 63 protein, 10 carb

I think I was about 16 when my uncle first told me he thought the moon landing was a hoax... I was totally waiting for the punch line that never came. He was totally dead serious. Glad your ex-BIL didn't pass his theories on to the kiddos :)
