good morning my friends!
I had a great weekend, got to spend the day yesterday at my parents' house with my siblings and their families and nieces and nephews. it was gorgeous outside so we spent 80% of the time out in the yard watching the kids run around picking up sticks and collecting rocks and playing hide & seek.
QOTD: we bank with Chase. DH works for them and we get plenty of employee benefits/perks so it works well for us...they have locations EVERYWHERE, they make it super convenient to pay bills online and they treat their employees very well. They seem to always respond well to any issues we've had but I am sure it helps that he is an employee lol.
feeling kinda blech this morning, pretty sure it's due to my hormones throwing off my cycle and getting my monthly visit a week early...but just no appetite at all and kinda nauseated. I brought a few different foods today so I guess we'll see how i feel a little later.
morning: coffee & Half PP
B: 3 turkey sausage links (not sure If I will eat these yet)
L: crab salad
S: greek L&F yogurt/ cheese stick
D: leftover half of a cheeseburger or maybe hummus w/carrots.
happy Monday everyone

Howdy,
Hope everyone is having a great day so far!!
QOTD: Tough question. In the world of banking much is the same. Most banks keep updating their technology like Chase who keeps changing the look and feel of their online banking portal. Frustrating because just when I get used to doing things a certain way, they decide changing it, renaming it or new formatting benefits their customers when it doesn't. Some software developer sitting in an IT castle decides what they think their customers will like but in fact, it just complicates stuff.
Food accountability: Had movie theatre popcorn yesterday (no butter) but how can I see an Avenger 3 hour movie and not share a popcorn with my son? That is my excuse and I am sticking to it. :) back on low carbs today.:)
Breakfast: Coffee and a protein bar
Lunch: Salad and meat of some sort
Snack: Cheese sticks (2 low fat ones) 60 calories each and 12 grams of protein
Dinner: Roast chicken and veggies of some sort
Low carb yogurt

Weekend went by too quickly. Church, shopping, laundry.
Had my 2nd meal that my pre op plan allows, so disappointed. Steak was bland and steamed broccoli was flavorless. Plus it gave me a belly ache!
So liquids all day today.
Have a great one!

Hi hi! Hope everyone is having a good start to their week so far. This weekend, we finally went to this coffee cart that is ALWAYS crazy busy. We had time so we decided to wait in the double line to see what all the fuss is about. Around 30 min! Started timing it about 7-10 minutes after we got in line. I was really excited because I'm a total coffee lover so I had really high expectations and was thinking it would be the best coffee I've even drank. Don't get me wrong, it was pretty good, but it wasn't 30 min in a line on Sunday good haha.
qotd: I bank with a local Alaska bank and I love them! I opened my first account when I was still running the business and when I realized how much better things could be, I transferred all of my personal accounts over to this bank as well.
b Greek l&f
l meatballs
d we made smoked and sous vide pulled pork! It's still cooking, so I'm not sure how it turned out yet, but I'm pretty excited to use the meat for multiple different meals :-D
s string cheese maybe. Tons of tea to keep me on track
v patches
e dog walk/jog
have a great day!
G'morning everybody.
As I expected we spent the whole weekend on the beach. Just for fun I timed how long we were there. TWENTY-TWO hours in two days!!! But it was all worth it every time I saw DS's smiley face winning his heat and moving up. He ended up fourth in his jr men division but being the youngest in his group (he just turned 16) it was a huge accomplishment. Plus he got to meet some of his idols in long boarding and chat with them about their techniques. He had stars in his eyes.
QOTD: we bank with Wells Fargo. Even with them being in the news recently we have no complaints.
Accountability : great
B: protein shake
L: shredded Mexican chicken & veggies
S: cheese
D: TBD
Have a great Monday.

Good afternoon! Good weekend all around, but not long enough. Nice to see that sun out, and to hear the harleys and muscle cars firing up and ripping around town as I wander through it. That's always a sign of spring.
QOTD: I'm happy enough with my bank, but I think they're all the same. This one has bungled a lot and really needs better communication, but switching is just too much of a hassle with no guarantee of improvements. I've been at a few over the years and they all kinda suck.
Menu: B: Protein bar and a coffee.
MS: 1/2 cup 1% cottage cheese with about 9 cucumber slices. AS is the same thing.
L: 1 cup of salad with a 1/2 chicken breast cut up into strips and 1 oz cheese cubed up on it. That was a nice treat from my usual lately.
S: Unknown but not much. It's drum lesson night so maybe just decaf and later on have a snack of some sort.
All water and vites intact. I've noticed I'm drinking more decaf lately at work in particular. Still slamming the water back, but coffee has increased a bit. My labs are all great and I've been told decaf is pretty well not an issue. Except that I buy it more often, LOL.
Good afternoon,
I had a good weekend, went to a concert with my brother to celebrate my birthday. Had a potluck at church yesterday. I went shopping and got a dvd to watch.
Accountability not good, had cake and alcoholic drinks.
Qotd yes I like my bank
B ham and cheese omelette, string cheese and mini bagel with cream cheese
L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple
D tbd at support group
Have a good day
