Hi Menu Friends, how are you all? How was your weekends? Mine was awesome! Spring has sprung here in Southern Ontario Canada, and it was glorious out on Sunday. This week we are getting some sun and a high of 25C (77F) and some rain but it sure feels like Spring and I am so happy!
Accountability: on point
QOTD: Are you happy with where you do your banking? I am with TD Canada Trust, they are just okay and I don't know why I stay with them. I want to switch banks but it just seems daunting to have to go through all the bother of informing all my auto payments bills etc.

Morning all.. weekend was great! Emily's show was great I laughed and cried... I am so proud of her and her theatre family. In two weeks we go back again for graduation... but for now today is work and tonight I have a co-op executive board meeting. What fun...
QOTD: We use a local credit union. My husband has been with them since the early 90's and when we got married I just moved over to his account. We like them even though they have grown and they are still relatively small so I appreciate that.
I need to get back into doing better stepped on the scale and did not like what I saw:
B: bacon and cheese stick
L: Turkey and cottage cheese
D: roast pork and veggies
Have a great day everyone...
Good morning! Our weekend was okay. We walked on the beach Saturday and around the block several times with Justice.
I went to my in-person support group for the first time since the fall. The leader has just returned from hip surgery. She used to weigh in the mid-400s, but after RNY many years ago got her BMI down to the low 40s. She never dropped below that until she needed this surgery and her surgeon said he wouldn't operate on her unless she got had a BMI under 40. So she did and lost 35 pounds! She said she was thrilled to find that once she got back to basics she could feel the restriction again and use it. She needs a knee replacement too, and the surgeon says he wants another 35 pounds gone before he will do that. She is a nurse and has a lot of respect for this surgeon who feels that he is treating the whole patient and his goal is not just to get them through surgery but also to give the patient the likelihood of having a successful ultimately painless outcome.
QOTD: I use Cape Cod 5. We also used a local bank when we were in Central Mass. We feel like we get better service. We used Bank of America at one point and absolutely hated them! We were a tiny minnow in a huge ocean and not worth their time. IMO, BOA makes everything difficult (for the customer).
2 Years post-op

B: Eggs scrambled with cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: Emiepie egg salad
D: Marinated pork tenderloin with peppers

Good morning! I had a busy busy weekend, but by yesterday evening I was able to sit and put my feet up until bedtime. My whole body is stiff today, I did a lot of physical activity (hiking to photo shoot locations, gardening yesterday).
Random question: I know they make bra extenders, but do they make bra UN-extenders? Lol mine are all loose but I'm not quite ready to commit to buying new ones. Sigh.
Qotd: I bank with Bank of the West because I worked for them and got a bunch of employee perks, which never were taken away when I left my position there. So while it's not the best bank ever, I'll stay for that.
Menu: protein shake (chocolate whey with 1 TBSP added instant decaf coffee granules)
lunch: I still have leftover lasagna chicken that needs to go, so I'll take that
dinner: it's supposed to get into the 80s today, and I feel like throwing something on the grill. Burger, maybe.
we are expecting thunderstorms with hail tomorrow, so tonight after the gym I'll be covering my baby garden plants with milk jugs I've saved to protect them from a beating.

My problem is that while I've lost a lot from the chest, I don't think I'm in a standard cup size quite yet (I started at an F cup) but my bands are loose on the last row of hooks. I'll try one of those clips, I know exactly what you're talking about.

If you good with a needle and thread you may try to fold a back piece over and stitch it. Try to do that evenly on both sides.
I was very lucky with Ross as I was losing. They had larger size bras for close to nothing. Also Walmart. Surprisingly - I can get good large brass in there.

A Ross just opened here, I should go look!

I had to do something about the bra situation this weekend; Kohls was having one of their big sales and I found two for under $20 (one was only 5.99!!). Good luck!

I'm not sure I can fit a size sold at Kohl's quite yet, unfortunately. I started at an F cup, and while I know I'm losing a lot from the chest, I'm not quite sure I'd be in even a DD quite yet. I'm trying to hold off for a few more lbs so I can buy less expensive bras. It will be a happy day indeed!
