I am still very new to this but there seems to be quite a bit of disagreement on whether you can stretch your pouch or not (although lots of agreement that eating and drinking together will stretch your stoma). If you are really concerned about that having happened, you might want to talk to your surgeon.

I can't. But what I can do it to increase sensitivity to getting full signal.

When I eat carbs or eat too much for for a while - my body adjust and I often need more food to feel full. Or rather "not hungry".

When I am trying to "reset" - I try to measure my food very well, reduce the carbs (carbs make my pouch less sensitive) and I eat mindfully. I chew week, take breaks between bites, slowing how fast I eat. I don't read or watch TV or talk to others and I pay attention to my body. I stop at first signal when I am not longer hungry. Even if I did not eat all the food. (8 oz dense proteins and dense veggies) . I wait another 15 min- this is how long it may take for my brain realize I am full. If I am still hungry - I may eat a few more bites.

I repeat that at every meal for at least 2 days. When I think I may be getting "hungry" between meals - I drink 8-16 oz of liquids. Often I found out I was realy thirsty, not hungry. During my "reset" days I try to eat no more that 3 meals and no more than 2 additional snacks, if I need that. Meals and snackd Ned to be proteins forward, bwith some fat and maybe a few bites of low carb veggies.
