What's on your menu today (Thursday) RNYers?
So sorry to hear about DH. My father wandered away a few times. The scariest was when I couldn't find him in the morning before my morning shower. Apparently he went out the back door and into the garage where he got locked in. We found him asleep on the floor, using my yoga mat as a blanket. I cried with relief and frustration. It could have been so much worse.
I know what you are going through and will keep you in my thoughts.

Accountability - not great.

Accountability: Slipped again but not awful. Gotta keep fighting the carb/sweet demons.
QOTD: I rarely have cash. Use debit mostly for groceries and credit for just about everything else for security reasons. I pay off the credit card(s) at the end of the month - we have one we use for gas and one for most everything else. If you can discipline yourself to not overspend and pay off each month, the cash back rewards are a great incentive.
B: decaf w/premier protein
L: 3 oz Canned chicken, clementine
S: Greek yogurt w/1/2 scoop protein powder
D: Pork Chop

Mornin'!
I'm going to try to work remotely most of the day today (I often end up losing my focus or getting bored in an hour or two and going into the office, so we'll see...). Accountability was good yesterday.
QOTD: it depends. I always have cash on me for small purchases. I do not like using plastic for anything less than $10. Online, I use paypal if available - credit card if it's not. I pay my balance off in full every month to avoid interest charges. Ours has rewards, too - we use them to get a free plane ticket c. once a year. I use my debit card at the grocery store or if I need cash back from somewhere (Walgreen's, etc).
2 years 10 months out:
B: plain Greek yogurt, homemade blueberry sauce
MS: coffee with half & half, protein/Miralax peach melba shake
L: if at work, cottage cheese. If at home, two chicken meatballs & maybe more of the Asian-style slaw
AS: 2 T peanut butter on celery sticks
D: pulled pork and Asian-style slaw (I've been saying this all week, but some nights I just want (more) Greek yogurt, so I eat that instead..
ex: yoga
Good morning,
Not good, I have abscess tooth and my dentist won't touch it but he put me on an antibiotic. Refer me to an oral surgeon.
My Birthday is Sunday so I might go to the casino to see what I won for my birthday today since I'll be busy the rest of the weekend. Waiting for a friend to get back with me to when I go today, either lunch or dinner.
Accountability didn't eat all my lunch and no dinner but I did have a doughnut
Qotd being on a set income, I take so much cash out for small purchases and laundry. Use debit card for some things and credit cards for others.
B ham and cheese omelette string cheese and mini bagel with cream cheese
L I'll have my tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple if I don't go out
D I'll have ham and carrots if I don't go out
Have a good day
