MS: coffee with half & half, protein/Miralax chocolate latte shake

hi all

did fairly well, no whipped cream, no protein bars. I made a yummy pork roast with curry for dinner last night.

gym was stretching, bike and lower body weights.

QOTD: I have been bit by a brown recluse spider, had to go to ER because my leg was a balloon. they had to give me a big shot in the you know where, and cut the leg to drain it. I have a scar from that one. I've also been pecked my my former chickens but it was all in good fun.

Food for today

leftover chicken/pork

protein pancakes

water

coffee/pp

I think it has finally stopped raining here. it has been very icky.

Finally some sun here in Illinois but still a bit cool. Lily and I got our 4 miles in though already. Woke up today with a headache so will hope the sinus pills kick in soon. I'm not used to not feeling well anymore. Plan for today is some more house cleaning if I feel up to it in a bit and pulling my heaviest winter things out of the closet to be stored. Accountability was good with no extra bites. Post op 5 years 8 months and weight at 118.4 today. It's much harder to avoid snacking here at home than in the camper as theres more food to grab. I think this evening after supper I'll walk another mile to keep boredom away since boredom=head hunger in my case. You'd think by this point in my journey I'd have my head in order but I think this will be a daily struggle for me forever. QOTD by many many mosquitoes who view me as a tasty morsel and recently in Louisiana by fire ants--twice. I swear they come from nowhere! They were on my shoe and up my leg before I knew it. Heres the food for today B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 1 c butter bean soup D 31/2 oz ground beef with salsa and cheese 1/2 c green beans S 5 oz cottage cheese with 1 T no sugar added blackberry jam. Have a great day full of smart choices everyone! Off to make some coffee!

Fire ants are positively boiling over with aggression! I was bitten by them too a few times when in Texas. Awful creatures!

So great to see you on daily again Karen. You are my model for maintenance! That darn headhunger is the worst isn't it? After dinner watching TV is when it strikes for me. Hence my planned snacks for those dangerous times.

Morning all,

We are having a spell of the most wondrous weather imaginable. It is so, so beautiful!

QOTD: I've been bitten, mostly in play, by both kittens and puppies, and by one cat we had who considered everyone's ankles to be fair game. The mosquito nation and I long ago declared war - I have always been ridiculously attractive to them. Can't stand them and feel no compunction whatsoever about dispatching all I can find to kingdom come! I've also been bitten by fire ants and by assorted spiders. I've been stung by bees, wasps, yellow jackets, hornets, etc.

First: tea, tea, and more tea

B: tuna (first fish I've tried in a long while - I hope it's kind to me)

L: turkey

D: chicken

I am typing this as I am still lounging in bed. I haven't yet weighed for the day, but hope to see a loss. I gained a couple of pounds 2 days ago as a result of not weighing my portions over the weekend, along with saltier food than normal. I could see that I was retaining some water too, so crossing fingers that's all resolved and that the trajectory is once again downward!

Wishing everyone success and happiness today!
