What's on your menu today (Wednesday) RNYers?
Morning friends.. Today is my Friday and I am ready for a couple of days off although I am going to work on Friday from my daughters house while my husband is doing chores for her.
QOTD: I have been bit by a dog a few times but the weirdest thing I have ever been bitten by was a chipmunk when I was 8 or 9 my aunt and I caught it in a box and when we went to take it out it but me.
my food for the day:
B: bacon an cheese stick
L: ham and cottage cheese
D: cheeseburger
Enjoy the day friends..
Yesterday was rainy here so I took a break from the garden and did some house cleaning instead.
I also couldn't stop grazing! I'm so upset about it since I haven't really don't that since surgery. Nothing was terrible and my calories were still under 800, but there were two extra string cheese, and a SF pudding. I fixed myself a pot of tea to keep from eating more (can't eat while drinking logic) and that seemed to help, and that's also when I started cleaning. I think it was boredom. I've been working hard in the garden and suddenly yesterday I wasn't.
Qotd: I've been bitten by a lot of things! Lol spiders, snakes, dogs, my own sweet baby kitty bites me when she's playing (sometimes a bit too enthusiastically), siblings.
Breakfast: 1 apple Gouda chicken sausage, 1 egg
Lunch: same, but swap the egg for broccoli
dinner: trying a recipe for lasagna stuffed chicken breast DH saw on Facebook and wants to try. chicken breasts are basically stuffed with mozzarella and ricotta, then they're topped with marinara and more cheese

Morning! I think we will see sunshine today. Yay! Yesterday I had a headache and I rarely do except when having sinus issues. So, was that the 3rd day carb detox I've heard about?
I counted calories yesterday and ended day at 680. So hopefully by the end of this 16 days of liquids my liver will be smaller as well as me.
Food today, liquids.
QOTD bees a couple time and most definitely skeeters!
Be kind!

Good morning menu folks! It is rainy and cooler here too. It wasn't really raining when I came in this morning, just enough mist to mess up my glasses!
My dinner last night wasn't very protein forward. I had my teeth cleaned in the afternoon and my mouth and whole head hurt afterward. I had string cheese and chicken broth for dinner and then added another protein shake to try to keep my numbers up.
QOTD: bites...I've been bit by my cats lots of times, mostly in play. I can certainly be mosquito bait. And I've been bit by ticks several times and had Lyme disease.
Menu:
Breakfast: scrambled eggs, ham, 3 tater tots
Snack: Cappuccino protein shake, almonds
Lunch: I am having lunch with a friend to belatedly celebrate my birthday. We are going to SweetGreens and I've chosen some protein and salad that works from the menu.
Snack: turkey breast, apple
Dinner: shrimp
Exercise: I plan to go to Aqua Zumba this evening and get in some laps if I can

It's rainy here too, but the sun is supposed to return tomorrow so I'll use today to run errands and get Justice registered.
Chiquita, our old Chihuahua, had a good vet appointment yesterday and has gained 2 pounds that she needed over the winter. So she gets to enjoy life with Justice for a while.
Accountability was not good - too many unplanned carbs though my calories weren't terrible.
QOTD: I'm sure I have been bitten by a dog more than once, but nothing serious. I have had some insect bites that were nasty though: I stepped on some sort of bee when I was a child and my whole foot swelled and then itched like crazy for a few days. I also have been bitten a couple of times by ticks and have had swelling and itching that lasts for weeks. Not pleasant. Oh and I was bitten by a pet hamster too.
2 Years post-op
Always lots of coffee...
B: Eggs scrambled with cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: Tuna with pickles and cottage cheese
D: Chicken or salmon
S: mozzarella/prosciutto sticks, yogurt

Happy Wednesday everyone! I tell you, it's taken forever to get to this point of the week and I woke up incredibly exhausted...can't believe there's still two more days to go. I think there's a very real possibility I just come home from work and go right to bed tonight!
Accountability: good
QOTD: yes, there was about a 3 year period when I was a kid that I was bit by 4 different dogs, 3 different times. My parents said they bit me because I was scared of them...no kidding, I was scared of them because I kept getting bit. Even now, at 45, I'm very cautious around dogs!
Time since surgery: 10 weeks today!
B: .5 c fairlife plus coffee + .5 PP
S: .5 c fairlife plus coffee
L: 2 cheese
