Howdy Everyone,
Totally swamped with work, moving and packing to get to our new mountain home in May after my trip to Europe with Mom, fixing this house and two jobs. Pheeeeew.
No I am not handy at all. My husband is so thank goodness for that. :)
I have been off the rails bad about food all week. Its not that I am overeating, just eating poorly due to no food planning on my part and letting the carbs in the last couple of weeks. The weird part is that I am still losing weight. It could be the physical activity of packing , lifting , gardening etc. but nonetheless, trying to get back on the wagon again so I can get to a new goal somewhere in the 140's. Did I say that? LOL
Had a slice of pizza with greek salad , some chinese food ( mostly just eating the meat with a few tablespoons of rice here and there.
So today is:
Isopure protein shake
some kind of low carb wrap with cheese, ham
Dinner: May zucchini spaghetti with salmon
Carb Master low carb yogurt

Morning friends... Coffee and laundry are going sun is out and I am checking in before I get out my work laptop and work for most of the day. I have a weird work week this week Tuesday I go for another iron infusion I'm on round 5 irritates me that in February my ferritin level was 53 and last week it was 14 and I take so much iron..Anyway then on Thursday we leave for a quick trip to DC to see my daughters final college performance. Looking forward to it she does not know we are going to be there for opening night we told her we could not be there until Friday nights performance.
QOTD: Well I am not handy for household repairs but when I was 12 my dad taught me how to weld and now to tear apart a motor and put it back together so in that aspect I can say I am handy.
Food for the day:
B: 1/2 english muffin and peanut butter
L: sausage links
D: ham and cheese
Have a great day friends.
whoops - I just realized that I forgot to answer the QOTD.
I'm pretty handy and will fix small things - like garage door openers, switching out electrical outlet covers, computers & cell phones (if "fixable"). I've never done anything with plumbing. I used to be more adventurous with electrical projects, but after sparks started coming out of our basement bathroom wall after one such project, DH forbade those - we have to call an electrician now for those.
