Pouch Pals, how are you all? Its Photo Friday! Let's see your pics of something really old from your house and tell us about it. What are you all up to this weekend? I have Physio tomorrow, taking the dogs for a big hike, giving them a bath. Sunday is going to Costco, grocery shopping and meal planning. Nothing exciting.
Accountability: 100% on plan
QOTD: Tell us about the worst job interview you have ever been on and what made it so bad? I once had an interview with this lady Director that I already knew she was a mean ***** but I wanted the job. So sure enough in the interview she was *****y, disengaged and checked her phone the whole time. When she got around to asking me to tell her about myself I stood up, thanked her for her time and told her this was not the right fit for me and left. I still to this day see her in the hallways at work and she is still a *****

Here is my Photo Friday Pic: So this is my beloved rocking chair. Here is the story. When my grandmother was a young newlywed her Mother (my great grandmother) died and left my Gran money in her will. My grandmother went out and bought this rocking chair. She used to rock her babies (my Mom) to sleep in the chair. When my Mom was a newlywed my Gran gave her this rocking chair. My Mom used it to rock my & my sister to sleep. When I moved in with hubby my Mom gave it to me. Now I don't have kids but when my niece was born I babysat her a lot and I would rock her to sleep in this rocker. I still to this day sit and read in the chair because its very comfortable and I love to rock. So although the chair is not super old (bought around 1938-1940) it has roots to my Great Grandma and all the women in my family so its super special to me.

Good Friday morning menu folks! I don't have any pictures, but I also have 2 rockers, one that I bought soon after I moved away from home because I missed the one my Mom has (which I am set to inherit when they downsize homes) and a mother's rocker (no arms) that was my great grandmothers (not sure when it came into my family) and then my grandmothers. I love all three of them and find rocking so relaxing even now.
In other news, I have decided to go ahead and schedule my PS instead of waiting until Fall. I really like my surgeon, Douglas Forman, and trust that he will do a great job with my saggy body. I don't have a date yet but I've put down my deposit and excited.

Morning all, yeesh I am having a very dizzy crappy morning. But heading in for a full day because I am going to be out for the majority of next week, interviewing! I have two full day interviews on Tuesday and Friday and a "regular" interview on Thursday. Yay!
Thanks to those of you who had suggestions for stopping the vertigo. Over the last week, I have watched a lot of youtube videos on how to rest the ear crystals, and I have tried it but it's not working, yet. Either I need to keep doing it, I am doing it wrong, or that is not the problem at all... Hmmm. I wish I knew!
QOTD: Hmm, I can't really think of a disastrous interview, but funny story about interviewing for the job I am in now... As a little background--I am NEVER late for anything. Ever. In fact I am usually 30 minutes early for all things. But I was planning to take the train in and when I got to the lot to park my car, it was full, so I had to jump in the car and drive. I was 25 minutes late to the interview! I was so panicked that I ruined it! The office manager (who is now a friend!) was like--"girl, take a breath!" Ha.
Can't think of anything for photo Friday, sorry!
So happy that you have interviews! I hope they go well!
