Hello Everyone,

im hoping you are able to get a better 2nd opinion. It's not like 77 is that old that she would have to suffer like that. Seems frustrating.

Accountability: what I wouldn't do for a small pouch day. I'm actually rarely if ever hunger but really struggling with appetite issues while getting back on track from all the travel this past month. I'm upset and frustrated but I decided I'd fight it and lower my calories and take the veggies off to do a real CAMAW for a while until I can get some control. It's amazing to me how I can actually just keep eating veggies and while I know it could be something far worse it's still a compulsion that needs to stop.

QOTD: I much prefer text unless it's my kids. I'd much prefer to actually talk to them because I can tell how there really feeling etc based on the tone of their voice etc. but everyone else I'd rather text.

Hi All, I have been MIA for a bit because most of my spare time outside of work is spent job searching, plus I have been sick with really harsh vertigo/dizziness that is sucking the life out of me... The room spins when I move my head at all and sometimes even when I am lying still with my eyes shut. I hate this!

Anyway, I have not been terribly accountable and I've found myself eating a lot more carbs than I ever have, post-op. Plus I am definitely not exercising because I would probably fall off the treadmill due to all this dizziness, haha. I am not being too hard on myself--it's been a ****ty month. But I want to reign it in, so I am going to make an effort to post more often.

B: protein coffee & sugar free skinny latte

S: HB egg and almonds

L: Greek yogurt

S: meat stick

D: ? TBD, can't think that far ahead!

Julia, I am so sorry you are having vertigo and dizziness. When I had that a couple months ago, my family doctor sent me to a physical therapist. He did special exercises designed to re-balance the crystals in your ears. He would lie me down on each side really fast and watch my eyes (They would jump around while the room spinned), After he did that 3 or 4 times on each side of my body the dizziness & vertigo was nearly gone. I came back for two more sessions, but was pretty much cured after the first session! It was amazing to me. He said the crystals in your ears is a very common cause of dizziness / vertigo.

That's very interesting! I had to look up "crystals in your ears" because I had never heard of that before, and it sounded a bit new-agey to me! It's fascinating that such a simple mechanical process put things right! I too have experienced occasional dizziness, thank goodness not recently. It's very unpleasant!

Hoping that you feel much better very soon!

Could it be Ménière's disease (my MIL had it)? I'm sorry you are under so much stress. Losing a job does that unfortunately.

I have a cousin who has that - it's awful! He hasn't been able to work for quite some time...
