I got my blackberry ones from Celebrate. They had a huge variety; I think the blackberry ones taste a bit like laffy taffy.

good morning everyone!
I actually got to see my DH and spend some time having a real adult conversation which was so nice! (we work opposite shifts and most of the time we see each other is spent relaying pertinent information (ie: appointments scheduled, babysitter drop-offs, bills to pay, etc)...so it was nice to just sit down and get to talk about other things. His surgery is coming up and his liquid diet starts on Monday so he is starting to get nervous and he is worried he is going to be really grumpy and take it out on us when he's hungry...he asked if he should stay somewhere else for 2 weeks! LOL...I told him he is going to need to learn to suck it up and reign it in because news flash, after the liquid diet, he is still going to be grumpy when he can't eat what he wants after his surgery. Despite the not "feeling" hungry...head hunger is so real and it hit me only 2 weeks post-op, after most of the initial nausea faded. He is too stubborn to believe therapy will help him, so I can only hope he figures it all out otherwise there's going to be a struggle.
QOTD: I mostly cook on the stove top with my cast iron pans...sometimes finishing things in the oven.
DH does the grilling and I got him a smoker for father's day last year so he really loves that thing...he's always smoking some kind of meat on his days off during the warmer months.
Morning-coffee w/1/2 caramel PP
B: 2 turkey sausage links
MS: light & fit whipped greek yogurt
L: 3 leftover chicken wings
AS: string cheese or turkey meat stick
D: pork & stir fry veggies
I hope everyone has a fabulous Wednesday!

Hello Everyone,
Sorry to hear about your MIL and hope she feels better soon.
Accountability: I'm finally back after three weeks in a row of being out of town either helping my sister recover or traveling with my teen students for a competition. So happy to have some vacation time and to get back to taking care of myself. I need to work on how to still take care of myself when I'm taking care of others. It hasn't been so great this past month and the scale is up so I'm cutting back on calories and carbs. I may not do CAMAW but I'll only eat meat, veggies and primere protein for my coffee to get this added 5lbs off.
QOTD; in the summer we grill and in the winter it's a toss up between the oven, stove top and crockpot
B: premier protein in coffee and a Volpi roll
L: chicken thigh
D: sirloin, salad
S: volpi roll, turn in a pepper
