What's on your menu today (Tuesday) RNYers?
Well if the doctor orders ice cream, you just have to do it!

Good Morning!
I'm so sick of this weather as well. I lost my power for most of yesterday. Which meant I didn't get to work so I wasted a vacation day. Come on summer!!
I've been MIA as I've been off on training and then I took a few days to travel with some girl friends. So much fun and such a needed break!!
But I'm back now, heavier than ever. Sigh and committed to being back on track. I didn't overeat so much as I ate poorly. If that makes sense?
QOTD: I am in 2 lotto pools at work. I can't not be in them in case they win. I don't want to be the only person left at work. My parents play every week and remind me to buy tickets. but I don't. I'm terrible for it.
Today's menu is brought to you from pure laziness and the thought I had in my head this morning about going back to shakes only. In addition I was unable to cook yesterday so I had no left overs and again, please see comment about laziness. Just grabbed and went. Having said that? I'm going CAMAW this week. I need the reset. And I cannot survive on shakes alone. I won't make it. Sugar is taking over though, so I need to get that monster out. Hello 3 day headache!! My cart on Sunday looked like pre-surgery. TOO MUCH JUNK!! Thank god I was able to see that before I bought anything!! Scary!
MENU:
Breakfast: tea with restoralx and vanilla premier protein
Snack: Light and fit Greek yogurt-Strawberry cheesecake (My travels took me to the US last week!)
Lunch: Chocolate pudding cup with added in coffee crisp protein powder
snack: Banana premier protein
Supper: I am thinking baked chicken thighs
Snack: Smoked meat--I'm going to pick up some buddings packs.
Exercise: I'm going to a new kickboxing place. I'm a member of a gym, but my friend wanted to try this place. it's new and was only $30 for 5 classes. I said I'd go with her. I'm expecting to hear the hard sell tonight, but we shall see. I'm NOT paying $150/month for this place. I'm perfectly happy with my current gym.
Have a great day everyone!!

"Beauty is found within."
Posting way late, but life's a bit crazy this week. I had a tooth and prior bridgework removed (one reason is it was a 3 tooth bridge and the surgeon has been on me to get rid of it or risk emergency surgery if I accidentally swallow it). One of the supporting teeth was failing, so it was time. But that meant the prior scheduled implant to complete November's extraction was expanded yesterday. Being on Coumadin adds all kinds of titration issues. What a fun two hours I spent yesterday getting all the work done - one tooth out and 3 implants. Well fast forward. Lots of pain, soft foods only - as the work spans both sides of my mouth - and I woke up with blood everywhere. It wasn't as bad as the horse head scene from The Godfather, but it still scared the ... out of me. I looked like a vampire and don't ask about my great "My Pillow."
Apparently my clot formed on the surface, so the surgeon said - this looks to be normal for you my friend. Enjoy the next two weeks of soft foods only - and he means soft and not hot foods. That makes protein selection really challenging as I tried almost pureed foods and it didn't work. So it looks like back to pureeing :( I'm either going to lose a ton of weight or gain ;) As I ate a banana and pudding last night with my protein spaghetti/zucchini noodles. It worked great, but way more carbs. But I'll figure it out as I go forward and get to the store. I need to do some Eggface Ricotta Lasagna and more of my Spaghetti Squash cooked with crab meat. Both were great and will work great. So looks like cooking tonight after work. Need some SF Jello too as my SF Popsicle actually hurt to suck on. Grrrr But I am glad to be on the other side of the procedure. Oh, more good news ;) I made it under 200 officially Sunday morning. So 199.6 greeted me on the scale. So Onederland will help keep this for adding anything to my waistline.
B - Scrambled eggs soft with a little cheese. The chef took care of me at work vs. using the hard pre-cooked stuff.
S - 1/2 an OhYeah! soft protein bar
L - 1/3 cup egg salad made OH style and 1/3 cup of Tuna salad from leftovers I found in the kitchen. I was searching for soft to add to my egg salad and other than more mayo than I typically would make - it worked great.
S - Fage 5 oz with PB protein powder
D - The last of the Edamame Spaghetti and spirilized Zucchini mixed with crab meat and Marinara.
S - SF Pudding (not sure about the Banana again - I'll have to think about it. But probably unlikely).
Edit - Forgot QOTD - I don't but DW does. I only show interest when the Jackpot goes over $400MM, as being a stat guy I know the odds. But I'll go after worse than a lightning strike hitting me 3 times in 10 seconds for $400+MM ;)
HW 510 / SW 424/ GW 175 (stretch goal to get 10 under) / CW 160 (I'm near the charts ideal weight - wonder if I can stay here)

Hello my RnY peeps! Happy Tuesday!
Today is gorgeous, all sparkling sunshine, tall green trees and birdsong! A redwing blackbird just swooped down from my blossoming cherry tree, flashing it's scarlet. I really love that bird!
I'm dithering on the scale, down a pound, up a pound, down a pound, holding steady...I am nearing Onederland and am so excited to step on the scale one morning soon to see "199"! Any week now lol!
I bought a ton of Scotchgard and have been waiting for a sunny day so I can open the windows and doors and spray my new furniture. It's light, a pale oatmeal color, so it really needs to be done before it sports coffee stains and various other mementos of my clumsiness and the cats' digestive upsets!
I enjoy scratch-offs but very, very rarely buy them. My brother used to buy a bunch of them every Christmas for us all, and we would all scratch together, then share the winnings. Last time we did this, I won $100, which was fun! I have bought lottery tickets but again, very rarely. I have won some small amounts ($40-100) on the lottery here and there. I spend less than $10 a year on this, but enjoy it when I do.
First: tea, protein powder (I have noticed that protein powder kind of tastes/feels rather disgusting to me now, and I battle a few minutes of being grossed out by it. But I need to up my protein totals, and it's not otherwise that easy to do while staying under 600 calories).
B: Greek yogurt, again with a little protein powder
L: turkey with smoked gouda
D: an egg, made fluffy in the microwave, with a little smoked gouda.
Wishing all of you a wonderful day!
