Good morning everyone~ I'm off work for the next couple weeks. We leave tomorrow for San Diego to see my son graduate!! Very excited - I cannot wait to see him!!! He then comes home for 10 glorious days before I have to take him bac to San Diego. I have a bunch of last minute things I need to take care of today. Not sure how much I will get on here for a while, but I will behave myself!

QOTD - I play lotto every time I have Chinese food. I use the numbers off the fortune, it's a tradition now. If there is a ridiculously big jackpot we will buy a bunch of quick picks.

Accountability - had an upset stomach most of the day and did not eat a thing - I was never interested. I feel fine this morning.

Have fun with your son. I know the feeling, when my daughter is home from college but the time goes by so fast. Hug him extra tight.

Hi All!

I had so much on my mind this morning that i forgot to post - whoops!

we had a dinner meeting for a board I'm on last night - good choices, but too much food. Ordinarily I'd really watch it for the next couple of days, but today is our 20th anniversary, so we're going out. I'm considering a place with grilled fish tacos and/or "safe" appetizers...

like the other librarian in our group (!!), I also have a second plastic surgery consult this week. Mine is in Chicago on Friday. DH and I will spend part of the weekend down there to boot - really looking forward to it!

QOTD: nope - never have. But I figure my chances are about the same as if I did play!

2 years 10 months out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt with 2 T cherry butter

MS: coffee with half & half, protein/Miralax vanilla pumpkin latte shake

L: I'm working from home today - I'm thinking pulled pork..

AS: L&F yogurt or a piece of crustless protein pumpkin pie

D: fish tacos or a "safe" appetizer

Happy Tuesday everyone! It's still unseasonably chilly here in Chicago, but at least the snow has stopped!

Accountability- spot on. For the past few days, I have not had much of an appetite. Ironically, I'm also experiencing a bit of a weight loss stall. I know the weight loss will catch up soon.

QOTD- I never play the lottery. It never really enters my mind. Maybe I should start!

today's Menu

B. 1/2 cup nonfat plain greek yogurt. 1/4 cup fresh strawberries. 1 tsp cocoa nibs.

M.S. Light string cheese

L. 2 oz deli turkey. 1 tsp yellow mustard. 1 clementine.

A.S. Coffee w/ splash of unsweetened coconut milk

D. 2 oz chicken breast. Green beans.

E.S. Sugar Free Popsicle

Surgery Date: 1/31/2018

Hey everyone,
I am late posting again today but I had a busy morning at work and just finally got a break.

QOTD: I don't buy lottery tickets but my husband does...we play a few times a month, or whenever we remember to get a ticket...and he does get a lot of scratch off's. we've had a few pretty good ones ($100, $400, several for $20) and DH just won $5K on a scratch off a couple weeks ago, so that was super cool.
We always talk about "when we win the lottery" its like a game, discussing what we would do if we didn't have to worry about money lol...I think lots of people do it.
Once in a while there is someone at my office who will collect $2 from everyone and we will all chip in when it gets ridiculously high (like over 300 mil)...otherwise splitting it between like 70 employees would be pointless lol.

Morning-coffee w/caramel PP
B: cottage cheese and strawberries
L: leftover crab salad
D: Chicken wings
S: string cheese

enjoy the rest of your day, everyone!

Good afternoon! We are finishing packing today to go home tomorrow. It is just 1 pm and I think most all is packed, so later today we will work on buttoning up everything for off-season (furniture from lanai into garage, etc).

QOTD: Nope, no lottery, no gambling. I am super conservative with money in most cases.

2 Years post-op

Always lots of coffee...

B: Eggs scrambled with cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Deli turkey

D: leftover crab cakes

S: Yogurt and/or mozzarella/prosciutto sticks

Good Morning Daisy and Menu Family!

I FINALLY got back on myfitnesspal this morning! I tried a different browser and that worked.

QOTD: Almost never. Occasionally I will buy some scratch tickets just for the fun of scratching them off or for my daughter so she can scratch them off, but we never win anything substantial.

Accountability: I had a soft serve ice cream after my cheek biopsy yesterday - Doctor's orders to help the blood clot better. Besides that I did pretty well on my eating.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, banana, light & fit Greek yogurt

L: ham & cheese on 45 calorie bread, light & fit Greek yogurt

D: chicken stir fry

S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, 2 Atkin's peanut butter cups

E: Walking Blossom around the subdivision

Have an awesome day everyone!
