What's on your menu today (Monday) RNYers
Hey all... Happy afternoon... Wow it is freezing and windy here in great ole Vermont... I can not wait to start complaining about the heat. This morning I went to walk into my office and the wind was blowing so hard I had a hard time opening the door and I guess I should mention that was the indoor office door. Dang old buildings.
QOTD: I did not answer the question on Friday because I was in the end of hell month of a week.... But I am learning to love myself.
Food for the day:
Well lets see it is 2:54pm eastern time and I have eaten nothing!!! But drank hella coffee why because I am freezing my butt off and to cold to eat and am along in the office today and super busy. Good thing I am using that protein creamer in my coffee!
D: It was going to be steak but I want soup..............
Have a great day everyone....
Hi everyone,
It was a crazy busy weekend! Man, I need a break! Until my SIL's house gets emptied out, that's probably not going to happen. It's all good though, it keeps me very active. The only downside is that I tend to skip meals and it's not good for the scale for some reason. I do make sure I have enough water intake.
Accountability: On plan but skipped a few snacks.
QOTD: I have no idea! Darn therapists!
B: 2 eggs, 1/2 slice of cheese, turkey breakfast sausage
L: 3oz roasted turkey
S: 2 turkey breast
D: 4oz flank steak, 1/2C broccoli rabe
S: ostrim meat stick
Cals:695, Carbs:7, Protein:92
Enjoy the rest of your evening everybody!

Hi all! Posting very late today! Daisy, your therapist's question reminded me of the following quote, which is often misattributed to the Buddha. Regardless of it's somewhat murky origin, I find it lifts my frequently slightly melancholic spirits a bit:
"You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection."
It's raining here again today. I love looking down my backyard to the lake when it rains, to see the pattern made in the water by the raindrops. Reminds me of one of my favorite paintings, by one of my favorite painters, Gustave Caillebotte (French, 1848-1894)
The Yerres, Effect of Rain (L' Yerres, effet du pluie)
1875
Oil on canvas
31 5/8 x 23 ¼ in. (80.3 x 59.1 cm)
First: coffee, then tons of tea
B: Ham, smoked gouda
L: Turkey, smoked gouda
D: I don't know yet, but it will be protein forward with much less sodium than these other two meals contained!
Have a wonderful day everyone! I hope that spring comes soon to those still dealing with winter!
