I wonder how tall you are? You may allow your body to get to a lower number on a scale. It'lI probably happen anyway, as long as you allow that. Don't try to increase calories too much once you get to your first goal. Regain at 2-3 years is real. Gaining weight is so easy.
I am 10 years post op. I the last 5 months I allowed myself to eat almost anything to gain 10 lbs of muscles while I exercised like crazy with a PT. It worked so well than not only I gained 10 lbs of muscles, but I added an additional 10-15 lbs of - most likely fat. Yikes !.
I still have a small pouch, I still dump when I eat too many sugars, yet 25 lbs gain was so easy. Fortunately - that still puts me in a size 8-10 clothing, so this is not a huge problem. I know what to do to lose the 10-15 lbs. Because I was eating some carbs (mostly fruits and some starchy veggies) some of the extra weight is most likely water weigh****er weight- fat weight - my body does not care what it is, it cares that that weight is affecting my back and my joints.
Gaining weight is so easy unless I get sick. I perfected that in my life (that's why I needed WLS) .
If you would think you are getting too skinny - try to find facility to have body DEXA scan to find out how much fat you still have on you. If more than 25% then try to get at least there, down to 25% body fat. Or below.
I am much older than you are, and my goal is to maintain with 20-25% body fat. IMO- younger people can safely maintain a 18-23% body fat. As a female - going below 18% may not be advisable. Fyi: caliper body fat measurement, or any other method beside a full body DEXA scan are not very accurate for most people who were once MO.
Good luck on your journey.

I was also going to recommend a dexa body composition scan. I think it is very helpful in helping us determine the best goal weight for us.

Thanks for the info, I'm 5'8" and wouldn't mind to lose more, 160 was just my main goal, I do plan on having at least one kid so I wouldn't mind losing more before that happens.

Thank you, to be honest I don't have one, I am a nurse so I'm pretty much on my feet walking all day long. And I do like to hike on my days off from work (except winter time, winter time I'm pretty lazy)
