Insurance approval and surgery date

Hi Pamela. I just received my insurance approval today, and am meeting with my surgeon on Wednesday to set a surgery date. I was told it will be within 2-6 weeks, so we may be on about the same schedule. I look forward to hearing how things go with you. Sarah

Congrats Sarah! Did you have to do a 6 month supervised diet too? At first I didn't see how that was going to help me, but it has been Very helpful in getting my mind wrapped around the changes that would need to be made.

Thanks! My insurance did not require a 6 month supervised diet, which has helped me move thru the process relatively quickly. My bariatric center did require multiple meetings with a dietician, whi*****luded reviewing my food logs. I am using Baritastic vs MFP, and also entered info into the App that let's the staff see my data (I don't think it is personally identified as mine, but I get occasional notes if my logs are off track).

I use Baritastic as well.
