When I really crave chocolate, I use 2 tablespoons of sugar free jello chocolate fudge dry pudding mix and mix into some greek yogurt. It's my favorite!!

Tried this tonight because of this suggestion. Question...how much Greek yogurt do you use? Does it get "moussy"?

I made sf chocolate pudding with Fairlife milk. I also had the Nestle sf hot chocolate, 20 calories. I also buy the Chocorite bars that have 100 calories and 10 grams protein, which is the absolute highest I went in grams of protein vs calories... I think vets recommend something like 1 gram protein per 5-10 calories? I was advised to use protein bars sparingly... like never if possible in the beginning.
I would advise you to fight off those cravings, you are pretty early out. Giving in to cravings early on just leads your mind to push harder, in my opinion and experience.
I have ProCare Health's calcium dark chocolate at home. It's got 500mg calcium + 500IU Vitamin D. Calories are 50, carbs 4g, fat 3g, total sugars 2g. They are expensive ($20 for a bag of 30), so I just have one when I have a chocolate craving, and it's a replacement for one of the three calcium chews that I would normally have during the day. So I really don't feel guilty about it. I've also had Skinny Me sugar free chocolate, but they aren't as tasty, and they don't have the added calcium and vitamin D.

About 1 year out, I melted a couple 100% cocoa bar squares I got at Trader Joes (black chocolate?) into my coffee w/cream and splenda w/ a little vanilla. It was really good and very chocolaty. It was so good that I had 2 more and made myself sick, they were really rich so be careful. I haven't had one since.

One of my friends just asked me yesterday "what do you do if you get cravings for something sweet?". I actually had to stop for a few seconds, and think about it. Then was able to answer with "You know what? I don't get cravings for sweet things."
I hadn't really realized it, but I no longer ever really have sweet cravings, and I used to all the time. But I have also cut out virtually all added sugar, and most (I'd like to say "all", but that's a lie) artificial sweeteners.
I do eat a lot of fruit, and when you don;t eat added sugar for an extended time, fruit is a really sweet and delicious snack.
My point is simply that my experience has been that if I never eat sweets, I never crave sweets.
I should also point out that it is SUPER easy for me to fall off the wagon. I don't generally eat protein bars, but in a pinch (usually when traveling), I'll get a box or two. I don't know why I do it, because inevitably I eat way too many, get hooked on them, and end up continuing to buy them when I return home. Then 2-3 weeks later have to detox myself. Whenever I have those stupid things around, I literally can not control myself. They call for me, and I answer! Ugh. I imagine this has to do with these are the only "sweet" treats I allow myself, and when I do, BAM, bad news.
*Disclaimer - many people use protein bars with great success, this is just my personal experience. I'm sure it'd be even worse with actual sugary desserts. I never intend to find out.
Since many are offering chocolate based solutions I'll play devils advocate and offer the other solution.... suck it up. You're barely two months out of weight loss surgery. You'll survive without chocolate.
