Good morning everyone~ I had a extra lovely drive into work on the back roads today. It was so especially beautiful today- the sun was barely up, all misty in the hills, green as far at the eye could see. Beautiful wineries, vineyards, farmhouses, pastures with cattle, horses, sheep and goats all dotted with honey bee hive boxes. I feel so blessed to live here!

QOTD - phone, lip balm, lotion, back scratcher, a water for me and a decoy water for my cat who always drinks from my glass. All are MUST haves!

Accountability - super big/hungry pouch day so I had bigger portions of planned foods but nothing off plan.

16 mo psot op - 167.2 - ugh

b-coffee w/hc and splenda, HB eggs

l-beef fajita meat w/onion, peppers, mushrooms

d-TBD

v/l - on track

Have a great day all!!

Sounds so beautiful Amy! The Central Coast is unparalleled in beauty, especially when the hills are green!

B-skinny hot chocolate, peanut butter cup to go, celery. L-taco meat and lettuce. D-tbd. S-hot tea or skinny hot chocolate.

Good Morning Daisy and Menu Family! Wow Daisy, rain for the next 8 days? YUCKY!

I think I totally forgot to post the past two days, sorry. Our pet pigeon, that we've had for over 20 years, injured his foot and I took him to the vet on Monday. I simply forgot yesterday.

QOTD: Since I sleep in my recliner, my bedside table is also our daytime end table/coffee table. It has my water mug, my glasses case, the remote, and a little shoebox tote with all kinds of essentials like lip balm, nail clippers, glasses cleaning cloth, eye drops, etc.

Accountability: I've been eating more lately and need to nip that in the bud before I start gaining my weight back. Yesterday: Protein - 135, Calories - 1,526, Carbs - 154.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt

L: roast beef & cheese on 45 calorie bread

D: General tso's spicy chicken

S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, 2 Atkin's peanut butter cups

E: Walking Blossom & horseback riding

Have a great day everyone!

~ Karen

Oh, thank you, Cara, I sure hope so, too. He is very special to us. We rescued him over 20 years ago and nursed him back to health & have had him as a pet ever since. He is so affectionate and loving and such a joy! He got his claw caught in his cage bedding and got it wrapped tightly around his foot. I don't know how long he was caught before I discovered his plight, but his foot is swollen and discolored so I think it cut off the circulation to the foot. I take him back to the vet tomorrow for another laser treatment. He is limping, but putting weight on the foot so that is a good sign.

Poor little guy! I never knew before you first spoke of him that pigeons could live so long. I love all of the dove family, they are beautiful birds! You are such a tender-hearted person Karen, it's really just so nice to see that in people!

In the wild pigeons only live 4-5 years. I'm amazed, too, that Pigie has lived this long! Thank you for the kind things you said, Cara!
