What's on your Sunday menu RNYers?
I'm not sure how much she enjoys big city life, but I know NYC is about the only place she can go to get a publishing internship in young adult fiction which is what she wants to do. I wouldn't like big city life, but she seems to be handling Washington DC just fine, so she'll do fine in NYC, too, I'm sure. But I'm sure going to miss her a lot.
Good morning! It's cruddy weather agin here today, and I feel like I've been hit by a truck. Headache, scratchy throat, sinusy. I felt fine all day yesterday, but was tired and went to bed early. I've taken Tylenol for the headache, but I don't think it's doing much.
Qotd: we have a propane grill, but it's very old and getting to the end of its lifespan. The ignition doesn't work so we have to use a lighter, and one half of the burner just doesn't work at all. We thought about making it into a charcoal grill by just putting charcoal in it, using the gas to light it, then turning off the gas once the charcoal is lit. Or is that a stupid idea? We will likely just buy a new grill once we move next year, so this would just be for this summer. I do almost all of the cooking out on the grill in the summer because our house is so small that using the stove heats it up, which isn't fun in the hot summer.
I'll plan for eggs for breakfast, tuna for lunch, and a turkey burger patty for dinner, though food seems super unappealing right now and I might just do protein shakes and liquid today. Bleh.

Thank you! Hoping it's just the crazy weather changes and not true sickness.

Happy Sunday! My Saturday was pretty productive, with accountability on point. I was tempted by some pastries at Starbucks, but I stayed strong. I also had to go shopping because all of my clothes are too big. It's a good problem, but it's starting to get pricey.
I love my gas grill! We use it year round. I do prefer charcoal, but gas is so much more convenient.

Buying new clothes in the losing phase can be a combination of lots of fun and annoying. I'd just get a wardrobe of clothes that I liked when they were too big and needed to be donated. As you say, good problem to have!
